I've given this McDonald's now at least three tries to redeem itself, but they still constantly. I'm general, going south about $15 minutes will save you a ton of money for the exact same items.
I remember one time getting there 10 minutes before official closing and being turned away without even being given the courtesy to be told why? Instead the female manager and someone else didn't bother to look up from the register they were toying with and just kept waving their fingers while my family and I waited for a respectful response that didn't happen. We had walked to this location, and I was going to get something. I instead waited in the drive-thru and had a car pull up so I could make an order, walk to the first window and pay, then get my food at the second.
Another time, after receiving notification after notification on the app about using their online deals, I finally bit and went back to this very store. Apparently their online network was down and there is no backup plan from what I was told. Meaning, that say was the only day for whatever deal I wanted, and they would not honor it. I went ahead and started doing simple math in order to show how you could replicate the price for the deal without using their "network". All this was lost on the same female manager. She explained if I got the deal then she would have to give it to everyone, which was problem to her for unknown reasons since everyone SHOULD get the same deal. It's not really hard to tally the deals given while the network is down to have properly adjusted later. Understanding that explaining things that one can't comprehend is pointless, I took the kids to the Starbucks in the Safeway down the street, which they loved.
Today I just wanted to find out what mini toy they were selling because my friend wants to collect them all, so I am trying to buy different ones. I have never had a problem with a McD store being able to state which toy they currently have, if they know. But I unfortunately called when the female manager was closest to the phone. They told me they couldn't tell me that information. I've done this throughout my life for different times for different toys. It's never been a problem and helps complete a kid's collection. What it sounded like I was being told is that McDonald's wants you to waste your money according to it's staff (representatives?).
This McDonald's is garbage. Honestly, save yourself a grip of money and go to the one towards White Center. If you don't believe there is a huge price difference, just place a bunch of items on the app and go to checkout. Don't make the order, but instead change the location to the one near White Center and see the difference. Not only that, but the other store has superior service in...
Read moreLocal McDonald's....we go and order via the drive thru. We understand it's not the best choice of food to eat...but on occasion its convenient and sounds good. What happened this evening and unfortunately has happened more times then it should, was a lack of attention to simply getting it right. My mistake was not checking each bag to make sure it's all correct. First off, why should we have to? It's a simple task of counting. This is their business. This is their service. Getting home and then realizing we were shorted a $6 sandwich is really really frustrating. It's also not cheap....not to mention this location charges for dipping sauces, which others do not. I make a call and speak with Gloria the manager. Her response with unbelievable attitude is she is obviously put out. I let her know I will be returning and she offered no apology for the inconvenience and cut me off when trying to explain that this has happened before. Very disappointing experience. When arriving she doesn't even deal with it herself and has an associate handle the issue. I asked to speak with her and was told she was on break. Convenient, when I had just spoke to her 5 minutes prior. The lack of consistency and concern from her is apparently not her goal of managing this establishment. What has happened to customer service? I'm going to make this the very last time we ever eat at her establishment. Probably for the better. It's really hard to support this local place in my community with such a terrible appreciation and/or approach to customer service. You will be ripped off....this is a...
Read moreNormally this mostly High School student crew pulls off a standard McDonald’s experience, but every mistake is downright excruciating to try and resolve with the older female manager. She is uncaring of the service she provides, a “minimum required” effort every time—it’s almost not worth bringing up issues or complaining since you have to inevitably deal with her attitude.
I had a 5 item mobile order I picked up myself via drive-thru tonight, about 7:30 at night. I checked in my code AE62 with her over speaker (she even repeated my order name back), pull up to second window, wait about 10 minutes. Handed a bag and pull out—missing two Large Fry. Get back in line to wait some more, let her know over speaker my mobile order was missing two Large Fry. She’s already annoyed, “Oh boy, second window…I guess.” I drive around and she still stops me at first window, now asking for a physical receipt (she has it, still thumbing through other receipts half-heartedly), then asking order number, then name (the amnesia has taken hold after three cars apparently), says oh well you must’ve not had it ordered (yes, the McDonald’s mobile app receipt is amnesiac, too). We go back and forth on basic logic before I just leave tired, fry-less.
You win this time, disgruntled penny-pinching franchise manager. Hope your next McDonald’s corporate review is as...
