I donāt usually write reviews but this was just WRONG!!! I ordered some sweet and sour teriyaki to go and while waiting for my food I stepped out for a minute. When I came back in, I sat down in a waiting area to wait for my food. At one point one of the employees called an order and nobody was coming to get it. They started going around the place and came up to one of the guys at the table who was actively eating his food and told him that it was his order. Again, heās already eating. During a quick exchange, I overheard the lady saying to the guy eating āitās not yoursā, she then grabbed the container he was eating from with frustration and gave him a new box stating āthis is yoursā. The guy didnāt seem to be bothered by that and simply opened the new meal and resumed eating. She took the other container into the kitchen and five minutes later came out with a bag and handed it to me stating āwe made you a new oneā. I found it little odd that she told me that but figured the other guy must have grabbed my order and ate half of it so they made me a new order. I didnāt think much of it and headed back to work to eat my food. Once I opened my food container, I noticed that my rice was positioned in a flat setting instead of a typical round scoop type of style. I dismissed that thought and started eating the chicken. I started noticing that oddly some of the bottom pieces of chicken were covered with rice which was already soaked with sauce and the chicken was cold. I know they donāt cook white rice and chicken together. I sort of put the pieces together and realized that my freshly make order was most likely topped off with some more chicken on top of the one some other guy started eating. The rice was flattened because it was also recycled from that same guy. I know they are in business to make money, but that was messed up and a health code violation on every level. Iām sure they will deny it and itās fine, it will be on their conscience and that fractional profit they made in a very dishonorable way, will cost them ten fold. Stay...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA reasonable teriyaki spot. 5 times total, 2 for chick teri, 3 for spicy chicken mushroom. Spicy chicken mushroom is one of the better orders here with well cooked mushrooms and a sauce that is spicy-ish and ok on flavor. But I agree with some folks that the meat portion on the chicken teriyaki is a bit on the small side. The bagged lettuce salad is okay with the sesame dressing.
Reasons to eat here: Fast, sensible pricing, good meat:veg ratio in mixed dishes that lets you pretend you are eating healthy while giving enough meat to sustain through the work day.
I eat here regularly for lunch on work days, but wouldnāt make the effort to get here if I was in a different...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNo frills teriyaki place. I've tried quite a few things from the menu and they have all been delicious. My go-to is the katsu, though. Prices are good for the portions you receive. The two ladies who are always working the front are kind, and get food out quickly. They have lots of options (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese), so there's definitely something here for you if you're craving Asian food. They also have boba, and a cold case of soda/juice/water. Plenty of seating inside, and always clean, but the food keeps well if you need to...
