Slim Goody is a sports bar in the Old Ballard area with a bunch of TVs and inviting atmosphere. Parking here is always a pain so be prepared to park a few blocks away and walk. They have about a half a dozen tables in an outside area with a TV, a bar area with almost a dozen tables with at least 5 TVs and then a front area with booths to sit at with a few TVs as well, with sports always on. The menu here isn't that big, and prices are a bit high for the portions you get. Their food isn't that great, onion rings were just mushy batter with almost no crunch or onion, wings are tiny and have a lemon taste in the Buffalo sauce, and their ranch also has a lemon taste to it. I think they're overcomplicating things thinking people will want fancier food but for a sports bar, they need to step back and get to the basics. The staff is awesome here, and they're always walking around getting you things and joking around. It's pretty clean in here which is nice and they will always be willing to change a TV to a game you want to watch. If they fix the food, they will easily get 5 stars. I'd still go here for a beer or two with friends though, it's a great...

We were visiting from Kansas City MO and found this gem in the Old Ballard area. We had 8 in our group and stopped in to watch the Seahawks game, and ended up staying to watch the Chiefs play as well. We received the best service and never had an empty glass; super attentive staff. Now let me talk about the food... SUPER SUPER YUMMM. Between all of us, we ordered Fish 'n Chips, Fried Chicken Sandwich, the Goody Smash Burger, Onion Rings and the Fried Cheese Curds. Honestly, all of us thought the food was amazing... and I'm the biggest food snob but loved everything. They had a huge alcohol selection but I'm not a beer drinker so I ordered several top shelf vodka's with cranberry juice. If you're looking for a fun place to have good food, this is the place to go to. We'll definitely visit again when we're...

Great vibe, great food, exceptional service. Looking for a new ‘go to’ spot for watching sports check out this new place, you won’t be disappointed. Plenty of TV’s for viewing, a nice variety of beer and some tasty cocktails on the menu. I tried the Bloody Mary special - The blend of spices along with the yummy garnishes made it just perfect for this girl. The onion rings, fried cheese curds with dipping sauce (Beechers) and the chicken club were the BOMB. Will be back soon to try more of Chef Tony’s menu.Thank you, Lilly for being so attentive with our large group! Joshua - thank you for the specialty drinks &...

It's fine but it's 15 bucks for this size of fish and chips (mcleods better) 12 bucks for this side of onion rings (like 4 or 5 onion rings) 8 dollars for the side of salty French fries included in the fish n chips (again mcleods better) and burbs has way better burgers for cheaper. To sum it up, atmosphere and food is fine but way better of both can be found nearby for much cheaper. Prices are INSANE.
