Fortune Palace — Restaurant in Sedalia

I found the food acceptable for the most part. On par with what one might get at a food court in a mall. As another observed, the fried rice is not all that great; hardly anything in it. My wife did not care for the California roll; I opted to take her word on it. The ice cream freezer looks as if it had a melt down and was not cleaned; choose wisely when picking out an ice cream cup. The rest of the buffet was fine, and the selection was good. Place could use a new coat of paint as others have observed. I get the impression that most of the 4.4 rating comes from previous owners. We will probably get our Chinese food in Marshall or Boonville in the future as we do not live in Sedalia and we were just hungry on...

I love this place lol I love working there I feel like family And the guest that gose there I always try make them feel welcome and comfortable. There is sometimes where i see a costumer having a bad day or just got somthing thats bothering them I always try to make them see the positive never the negative and somtime they just forget Wat was bothering them and i always love to make my customer satisfied cause I knw how it feels to be ignored also when i see them leave with a big smile or happy I knw I put my effort and pasion in my work I love working and waitressing at the fortune...

We got some takeout! First bite was The worst fried rice I have ever had!!!! Fried rice is suppose to have some vegetables;, nothing but gross disgusting rice and weird pieces of (what they say was) PORK!!🤮🤮🤮🤮 The beef, in the beef & broccoli was so gross I took one bite and THREW IT AWAY!!! The crab Rangoon was just cream cheese and I think the oil or whatever they used to fry them was old and gross with that thick layer on it, so gross!!!! 🤮🤮 My poor husband had the General Tso's Chicken and he's been up since 3 a.m w/diarrhea!!! Never again! Try another place...
