Missouri State Fair — Attraction in Sedalia

Disappointed, the grounds are good, but prices on food trucks are deceiving. regret not taking a picture but watch out, so we got food next to the arena where goo goo dolls were performing... Saturday. It offers sausages polish or Italian.... so it's $12 for sausage on buns, but then she (owner) offered me toppings, and I assume it's free since she is nice. So one piece (I asked her ) jalapeño cause I saw they had it. Then she offered grilled onions, ok, cheese.... I said no at first, but she showed me nacho cheese. I said ok. Then my po lish dog cost me 17 dollars.... We all love state fair food and promote truck food businesses, but this is a pure rip-off. Bottom line do not go here anymore, right? Nothing great, games are $10 for the chance to win $1 dollar toy. My wife misunderstood what the tickets where for. She thought tickets would get you game plays. We spent $70 on them . The second we found out they where for rides only which was 30 seconds later we asked if we could get our money back. We had zero intentions to ride the rides . When we turned around and went back to the booth the lady said there arnt any refunds. So i look all over for a sign that stated no refunds . Not a sign in place. On the ticket it said it, so after you make the purchase you find out you cant get a refund. The lady said we could scalp them out. I won a business, refunds are always possible. Then 99% of the vendors where all obese people food and counterfit products. I will be letting the BBB about all the fake items...

9 dollars for a soda? 5 dollars for a refill? Never again! No value. Shows our state in a negative light. To top it off the soda was very weak, mostly water. Guessing they are having issues filling the commercial buildings, quite a few religious organizations occupying the spaces. Looks like a dead mall with actual people inside. The 4-H building has a major crack on it's south wall that looks like it's going to bring down the building at any second. The tram operators are rude. It's the same old fair from years ago just a lot more expensive and possibly not worth going to because of it. Lower your prices and up the quality.
