Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Seguin

I love chik fil and frequent 2 locations in new braunfels since I work there. I’ll start with the good: food was hot and order was accurate. Service was friendly and my heart felt for the poor boy going to cars and apologizing to cars, including ours, for the long wait. You could just tell the young man had been yelled at by some disgruntled customer already so I told him it was ok and, of course, continued to wait. Now for the bad: I waited 40 min for my mobile order. And yeah we know that wait time is spot on since app showed we ordered at 4:08 and it was 4:40 on the dot when we got our bag. Yeah yeah I know, brand new store and it was insanely busy so that’s why I didn’t give the girl or guy who checked on us crap about it. I guess I just don’t see the point of the mobile thru option if ten cars in the normal drive thru lane are going to get their food first and we still had to wait 30+ min in line. Keep in mind, we were the second car in line. So I hope they get their production in order cuz otherwise just throw out the mobile thru option. Also, as soon as I received my order and the black van next to us did, it released the whole line. At least ten cars behind us were able to leave once we did. They will need to work on which order they pump out orders, as I can only imagine how frustrating it is to have your order but not be able to move for 30 min because the first cars in line didn’t get their food yet. The black truck that peeled out was definitely not happy. All in all, a great food and service but they will need to manage the chaos better. Again, this is me being honest as I know it’s super busy and new so I’m not entirely blaming them, just letting them know they can do better. This was my first time here which was an experience in itself. This establishment was opened just a week ago to the day...it is the only one in Seguin. Lots of vehicles attempting to locate parking. The drive-thru had at least two lines to acquire takeout. There are individuals acquiring orders to submit to the kitchen indoors. It seems chaotic at the cashier station inside but it is a well oil machine. Everyone (workers) are running around like ants in a anthill. As the various supervisors which I'm able to observe are managing their specific stations from the food servers to the dumping ice in the coolers to keep the drinks cold as well keeping the floors from getting too dirty and the customers are all waiting their turn in a proper order from ordering their meals, waiting for their turn for their orders. It seems the seating areas inside and in the courtyard are full of customers enjoying...

Finally Seguin has Chick-fil-A! 🙌 My only concern/complaint is the setup of the parking and the drive thru line. The drive-thru line interferes with the parking lot in which customers who want to leave the parking lot can’t if there is a long line in the drive-thru. Perhaps this is just temporary due to the grand opening in which there’s lots of traffic of customers at the moment.
