The one star is specifically for the interaction I had with the manger Kelly today. I have gone to this Subway numerous times and I have always had a great experience until today. The employees, most who are teenagers or in their early 20s have always been incredibly kind and courteous. Today Kelly was the exception not the rule in my opinion. I typically order pizza from subway. The 1st time I ordered pizza from this location years ago at this point, the paper placed under the pizza for toasting fused to the pizza. I had to toss out some of the pizza as I did not catch the mistake until I got home. The next time I went into the subway I explained what happened to an employee and they stated the pizza is no suppose to be toasted with the paper. Since then, I have always requested not having the paper toasted with the pizza. I have never had an issue with the request until today. Kelly was adamant that the pizza is to be toasted with the paper. I explained previously what happened and requested for no paper. My issue is really not what Kelly said but how she stated it. Kelly reluctantly agreed to toast the pizza with no paper. By that time Kelly was standoffish. As she placed the pizza in the oven from my vantage she seemed to be making statements under her breath out of frustration/anger related to me/my order. I continued to address Kelly as ma’am and use respectful language as the short but tense situation unfolded (it’s how I was raised). Kelly came off as incredibly rude and disrespectful. From my perspective, there was a clear lack of professionalism on the part of Kelly which was incredibly disappointing given that all of the young adult employees that I have encountered at this location exude professionalism. While I understand it was busy and Kelly could have been having a bad day there is no excuse to behave in such an inappropriate manner, especially as a leader the young adults are supposed to follow. Read moreOrdered through Doordash about 2 weeks ago now, I called the restaurant up and asked for extra sauce which they told me they didn't even have the means to make the sandwich. I asked if they would cancel the order. Its been two weeks and I still have not been refunded. I tried speaking with the manager 3 different times, the first 2 times, I was hung up on, the 3rd time he told me there was nothing he could do because the order was the night before. I still have not received a call from the 'owner' as I was promised, nor have I received a refund.
While on the phone, said manager advised that they weren't even out of stock for steak, and he'd talk to his employee about it....
Read moreThis subway has the absolute most incompetent staff I've ever seen in fast food. That's on top of them not having any good staff for years. Go to walmart. They can at least fold a sandwich properly. These people just smashed it inyo the paper and rolled it up. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. The veggie trays are all mixed up so wrong ingredients get put on the sandwich. If they notice they just toss it over their shoulders. They dropped the knife multiple times and just picked it up and kept going. The list goes on and on....
