Typical Trendy hipster cookie cutter design. Matched with oddball food concoctions that seem to exist just to be contrary. Time from order to delivery is excessively long given the very simple basic composition of the sandwiches, even with minimal patrons. After sitting and waiting for my coffee, and waiting, and waiting while the rest of my party enjoyed theirs, we mentioned it to the waitress. She just handed me a cup and pointed me at thermoses for self service. I guess I was just supposed to magically know this, because no one said this when i ordered. Simple egg sandwich finally came, wrong. All bagel, minimal egg, minimal cheese, minimal bacon. Underwhelmed.
Clearly hasn't had a decent cleaning in forever. Lights and other fixtures cakes with eons of fuzz and dust that is being dutifully distributed onto everyone's food by the ceiling fans. Not sure how the place passed electrical inspection either, overhead light hookups are lazy and wrong.
All hard surfaces, so very loud.
Great if you value stereotypical trendiness over getting your money's worth, and if you have nothing else to do...
Read moreThis place is a VIBE. I had no idea it was there until a friend of mine recommended it, so of course a stop was necessary. They have a great coffee menu that is quite extensive and includes many hot and iced drink options. They had a list of syrups set out to pair with whatever drink you choose. They were Tirana syrups, which I don’t love, so it would be really great to see them expand into even better homemade syrups! I myself chose their blended chocolate peanut butter coffee, which really hit the spot. They had a case full of baked goods, as well as a savory menu with a ton of delicious sounding paninis and such. I sampled the breakfast wrap on a wheat tortilla - the spicy sriracha mayo was everything. I also loved the fun, lighthearted, and funky atmosphere! Definitely worth the stop for good coffee and eats in a...
Read moreMy daughter goes to the university and raved about it. When dropping her off recently we stopped by. Walking in it was inviting and quiet. It was cool and smelled like comfort! The menu was easy to read an beautifully laid out on the chalkboard walls. We were warmly greeted and assisted with making our orders. The food came out quickly and everything was at the perfect temperature for digging right in. You have to try a smoothie. It was crisp and juicy but not to sweet! The iced latte I ordered tasted like a coffee instead of sugar as it should! My sandwich had a hearty bread but still soft and you could taste the layered flavors. To top it off the small talk and smiles from the staff made me feel good and I left knowing that if my daughter came in she would be served good food and given a bit of...
