Wish they would’ve had anything we wanted to order And when we got chicken strips instead, I wish they would’ve gave us the sauce they asked us if we wanted. Popeyes truly stands out in the fast-food chicken game with its authentic Louisiana flavor. The crispy, perfectly seasoned crust on their fried chicken is consistently satisfying, offering a satisfying crunch that many competitors simply can't match. While their iconic chicken sandwich rightly gets all the hype for its juicy chicken and tangy pickles, Popeyes' bone-in chicken is a hidden gem. Recent menu innovations like the permanent "Signature Sauce" and the limited-time "Chicken Dippers" show they're not resting on their laurels, always looking to enhance the customer experience. They've also been experimenting with new wing flavors and even a "Pickle Menu," which demonstrates a willingness to take risks and cater to trending tastes. However, consistency can be a challenge. While the food itself is often excellent, customer service and wait times can vary significantly by location. It's a trade-off many are willing to make for that unique Popeyes taste, but an area where improvement would elevate the overall experience even further. Despite occasional operational hiccups, the flavor keeps me coming back for more of that New...
Read moreI stop here when passing through as I like Popeyes. This is the first time I've stopped and had a couple of guests with me that desired Popeyes too. We should have walked out as it was not as clean as all of my other stops over the time it has been in business. Two people in front of us, individually, placed an order and before paying, walked out. Wonder why. We started ordering, individual orders, and the chicken sandwich was out. They need to take it off the menu if they can't get product or keep it. As well one of my colleagues and I both ordered the 3 piece tender combo with side. It lists as something like $6.79 plus tax. She rings it up $8.19 and it totals $9.01. I asked why and she states, the price changed. I stated that in Alabama the law says you have to sell at the advertised price because that's considered false advertisement. She said, we haven't changed the board. You want to give someone the benefit of the doubt, but has the.price really changed, and gone up that much for a 3 tender combo? Oh well, I've made my last stop here due to the nasty floors and tables, as well as trash bins inside being full. They've got some...
Read moreWorst experience at a fast food store or restaurant I ever had. The young person at the cashiers desk was completely overwhelmed and not able to work more than one thing at a time. After ordering I had to watch as our order was simply given to the next people in line and we were simply ignored and told to wait and mind our place. More walkin orders later, after asking, we were told to watch our attitude while further stalling our order and giving us a really bad vibe and attitude. It went so far that the shift manager finally "dealt" with us giving us more attitude and making us wait even longer. Unbelievable! Had to stand there for 10 Minutes watching everyone after us coming in being served in no time! I was really looking forward to my sandwich after a long car drive but after I was made to feel like I was not worth being served at all, the sandwich just didn't taste good anymore... Never going back or to a popeyes ever again - rather take our business somewhere else...
