Dairy Joy Seminole Ice Cream — Restaurant in Seminole

I’m so excited to have Dairy Joy as part of the Seminole community! I’ve driven past daily the last few months, watching the property take form into what it is today. The updates that came with Dairy Joy truly make it an enjoyable family environment. The property is wheelchair accessible, fenced in for children that might run around, offers plenty of covered seating, soft grass-like turf around an extended concrete patio, corn hole, and a photo-op spot for all ages. The staff was prompt and kind, prices are reasonable, and the portions were great! They are also in the process of adding hot foods such as hot dogs, so soon this will be a great dinner spot as well. Have been going here for years since it was Twistee Treat and now Dairy Joy. Went last night and it was a shock. The menu now has no prices. I ordered a medium blueberry sundae and it was barely filled with ice cream and the maker put chocolate sauce on it (which wasn't asked for), barely any nuts and barely any whipped cream. We ordered a kids milkshake, dipped cone and a twist. Paid with credit card and after a $2 tip it was over $22. Looked at my receipt and they charge a 7% credit card fee. 7%! First it wasn't disclosed anywhere and other places are at least doing 2-3% This place has gone downhill so bad. Crazy prices and fees. The portions are so small now and the accuracy is terrible. Sucks, because we used to go often....

Absolutely ridiculous quality they have went extremely downhill in recent months from the fact that I ordered a large snow cone and received a small size not even mixed up to the point where 75% of my snow cone is just shaped eyes to the fact that a large milkshake cost over $10 And over 50% of the time they have the excuse that they ran out of milk or that their machine is down really sad to see one of my local childhood spots go this way, but this is what happens when you sell out and hire a bunch of...
