Read good reviews & decided to try while in Seneca for work. I began with proteins: chicken, shrimp, beef. NOTHING was up to temp, tepid at best. I was fooled by the room being cold from the A/C & the steam table area being warmer. However, upon looking again after discovering cool food I didn't see any actual steam rising from the tables. Told the waitress (who I had to go find) who told the Mgr./Owner (a scrawny, stereotypicaly sour-pussed Asian male, wearing slacks and a dress shirt with a garish pattern, three sizes too large for his frame) who met me at the table. After listening to me tell him that the proteins I got were not up to temp & I would not be staying, he stood there looking down for a couple of beats, then turned & said something in Chinese to the waitress & went back to the register. Since I did offer to pay for the drink I received, I can only assume he told my server to get me a to-go cup so I could leave. No apologies, no comping my drink, not one word more from him, except for telling me the price of my drink. I let him keep the change from the $2 & left. How, How, HOW this place has an "A" on it's front door is beyond me (one has to wonder exactly WHO he may have paid for it). Learned my lesson, if I want anything, ANYTHING, besides local specialties in ANY other area of the country, stick to the ethnic restaurants of my area around Chicago/NE Illinois where the food & service & attitudes are more in line with the people who enjoy food in all it's...

Visited here for dinner with a kind elderly neighbor. I normally don’t come here due to the lack of gluten-free options, but we decided to give it a try. The waitress was sweet and used a translation app to better understand my gluten-free concerns. She ended up calling her sister, who explained that most of the food is prepackaged, and my only real option was the hibachi grill. I was given a plastic plate to weigh my food for pricing.
Unfortunately, the experience at the grill was disappointing. The cook didn’t seem very friendly, wore an earpiece the entire time, and didn’t properly clean the grill before preparing my meal. He wasn’t wearing gloves, and despite my request for fresh noodles due to cross-contact concerns on the bar, he went ahead and mixed in what was already out there. I tried to stop him, but he couldn’t hear me.
To make matters worse, the 82-year-old man I was with, who barely had $5 worth of food, was charged full buffet price. When I brought it up, the cashier told me he should’ve said something before getting his food something that should be communicated ahead of time, not after the fact when it’s time to pay.
All in all, this visit was disappointing and I hope they take some of this feedback into...
Read moreMy recent experience at Asian Hibachi and Grill Buffet was unfortunately quite disappointing. While the concept of a wide-ranging buffet with hibachi and grill options sounds appealing, the execution fell short in several key areas. Firstly, the quality of the food was underwhelming. Many of the buffet items seemed to have been sitting out for a while, resulting in a lack of freshness. The sushi selection was limited and didn't taste particularly vibrant. As for the grill and hibachi ingredients, some of the meats and vegetables appeared less than appealing. Cleanliness was also a concern. Certain areas of the buffet looked messy, with spilled food that hadn't been promptly cleaned up. This detracted significantly from the overall dining environment. Furthermore, the service was lackluster. It was difficult to get the attention of the staff, and drink refills were slow. The hibachi chef, while performing the basic cooking, lacked any real enthusiasm or interaction with the diners. Overall, Asian Hibachi and Grill Buffet did not live up to expectations. The subpar food quality, cleanliness issues, and inattentive service made for a less than enjoyable dining experience. I would likely not choose to...
