Messed up order, upon going back to get it fixed there was no "sorry for the inconvenience" or offer of anything besides remaking it. I had to drive 15 minutes there + 15 minutes back + wait 10 minutes for the order that I originally should've gotten (that's fine, people make mistakes) but upon asking if there is typically something that is done for mistakes on orders I was simply told no, that since they made a fresh pizza there is nothing. Asked to speak to the manager and he said that I should've asked the first time (not sure what this meant as I didn't look in the box the first time trusting that they got it right), and that they would've re-delivered if I called and ask but since I didn't they don't usually do anything and he came off very rude. He eventually said I could get a free dessert next time but now I'm not sure if I trust them to make my pizza because they seem like the type of people that would hold a grudge (not service-oriented), so I will likely not go back. I just know that if I were to mess up an order I would not place the fault on the customer for not calling for a free delivery (how was I to know?) and I would at least say sorry, but I think it's standard if you mess up an order to offer something besides the right order the second time around like a voucher of some sort considering the 30 minutes commute and waiting time for the right order. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust about every experience I've had with this location has been less than great, but tonight's experience really made a terrible, lasting impression.
Placed an order around 7:45. By 9:00, we still hadn't received our pizza, even though (according to the tracker) the pizza was finished at 8:19. I called over there to see what was going on and to make sure our food wasn't just sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. Someone answered and explained that they only had 2 drivers and our order was going out on the next trip. He also assured me that our food was actually made later than what the tracker showed, so it definitely wasn't sitting under a heat lamp for an hour.
We didn't receive our food until 9:35 pm (even though we live about 5 minutes from their location).
We received loaded tots with burned cheese that had, in fact, been sitting under a heat lamp for over an hour, one medium pizza that wasn't even fully cooked and the crust was still dough, and one pizza that appeared to have A BITE taken out of it.
We called over there and, while they did give us a refund, we did not even receive an apology or any sort of remorse for this awful experience.
So we waited around for almost 2 hours and now we have no dinner. Shame on you, Domino's! I think it's time for new managers and employees at...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a Seymour native, I've grown to expect a level of incompetence and indifference from the food service employees in the community, but I'm really getting sick of it. I placed an order for pick-up and arrived with my young daughter in my arms and was the only customer in the place. Each of the four or five employees looked up just long enough for the see us when the door chimed and immediately put their heads back down or continued conversations about their mental disorder or how busy they were and ignored us for a full 10 minutes. I don't expect great service in Seymour. I just don't. But a minimal acknowledgment that I walked in the door, or maybe a "we'll be with you in just a minute." Something... Finally, the one employee who's work station made it impossible for him to ignore me any longer finally asked if I was there for a pick-up. Why else would I be there? I say "yes" and tell him my name, and he couldn't find my order and he went right back to what he was doing. In the meantime, two other customers came in and guess what? Not a single employee recognized they were there either. I took my daughter and went and got something else. That...
