To my great regret, I visited YoYo’s Thai Food Truck in Shalimar, FL (in the Sunset Liquors parking lot) and asked for sweet and sour chicken without peppers or onions. The person taking orders immediately rolled his eyes and sighed. I asked if the sauce was already made and explained that I have an onion allergy. He snapped, “Yeah, no peppers either?! Sweet peppers?!” I said, “No, thanks.” He rolled his eyes again and said, “That’s like half of it.”

I responded, “Never mind, no thanks. It doesn’t seem like you want to make my order.” He told me, “Get out of here then.” I said that coming across like that probably isn’t good for business. He shot back, “I’ve been doing this for five years. Don’t tell me about my business.”

The whole interaction was aggressive and completely unnecessary. I wasn’t rude. I wasn’t difficult. I asked a reasonable question about a common ingredient due to an allergy and made a minor request. There were countless ways he could have handled it: politely, professionally, or simply with basic human decency. Instead, he chose hostility. It’s been almost an hour, and I am still shaking my head in wonderment about the whole thing, trying to understand why someone—presumably a business owner—would choose belligerence over politeness.

Even if the food had been outstanding, I wouldn’t return after being treated like that. The only person who showed any professionalism was his associate, who quietly said, “Very sorry, sir,” before I left.

Avoid this place. I think Sunset Liquors has chips. Have those instead. They’ll treat you like a human being, not scum, when you make...

Yoyo's is the absolute BEST!!!! Wish I could give them 10 stars. I tried a few different Thai places when I first moved to Fort Walton Beach. Since I found Yoyo's I will not go anywhere else ever again! They are a little far from me but worth the drive every time. I normally get the chicken and beef pad thai, American hot for $14. I like super spicy foods and the Thai hot nearly melted my face off. American hot is perfect! The food is at a great price point and you will get twice as much food as you will anywhere else. Plus it just tastes better! The only reason I can't make 3 meals out of what I get in one order is because it is so good I can't stop eating. They are the nicest people I have met since moving to Florida. It's a perfect little mom and pop truck and they even have a rewards program to get half off after going ten times or so.

Go check them out! You will...

They are not playing around with Thai spicy. If you think Buffalo Wild Wings atomic or mango habanero is spicy, this is not for you. Order 2x or 3x. Do not order thai spicy if you think Tabasco or tapatio is spicy. Order non spicy or 1x.

If you’ve had the buldak ramen, I’d say Thai spicy is between the black and 2x red. Closer to the red 2x than black. Extremely good flavor, but hot enough to make your nose stuffy, make you sweat, and a few tears rolling.

No complaints as they give you what you ask for in spice level, but I’m definitely ordering 4/5 American hot next time. For reference, my spice level is back samyang buldak is perfect, 2X feels more like a challenge than...

Everytime I come, I spend $30 minimum. The food is good but the guy is always RUDE!!! If you don't like certain races etc that's fine we can go elsewhere. But to always be rude when we spend our hard working money at your business is just not right. Stay home & let your wife interact with customers. Because if it wasn't for her you wouldn't have half the business you do. She's so sweet & friendly. I would of given you 5 stars if it wasn't for the mean rude guy at the window. Also, everytime I order spring rolls I get a different amount. Sometimes 7, sometimes 6. Crab ragoon I paid $7 for only 5. Smh

9FEB24. I requested a Thai beef salad, Thai hot. Of all the Thai food I have eaten in my life, this one was stupid hot - not Thai hot. There is another place called Fire Thai, and theirs is not that stupid hot. I wonder if there was any ghost or reaper peppers present and the owner were laughing when I left. Yoyo was a nice person to talk to, I wonder if the cook did this on purpose. The dish lacked fish sauce, or it was too mild. I will reass this place on another dish and redo this rating.
