The Twisted Grape, what can I say, I loved it! It's a small, quaint place tucked in Shalimar. Serving beer and wine and a decent variety of food. Ranging from cheese boards, various types of salads, soup, and pasta. My fiancee and I had dinner here around between 5 and 6. We were greeted with a friendly smile and was seated immediately. Our server, who was the owner, was amazing. She was definitely on top of everything. My fiancee and I shared an appetizer called Little Pig Toast. Bacon jam, fig marmalade, and goat cheese on toast. That was very good. Incredibly good, actually. We each had side salads. She had a chicken florentine lasagna , a special they had running. I had the lasagna from the menu. Both were exceptional, but i loved the flavor of mine much more. Hers was very good, but hands down, my lasagna was so good I could have eaten it frozen! For dessert, we had the cheese cake with caramel on top. It was the perfect end to the wonderful dinner we had. The owner checked on us and made us feel so welcomed. Great place, spot-on service, and the food was nothing short of excellent. I will come back and you need to come and visit. Great place for a first date or...
Read moreThis place has a really great atmosphere and great food, but our server Stacey absolutely exemplified what a high-level and ultra-professional server should act like. It's the kind of service that you don't even know quite how to react to because it's SO uncommon. Stacey was so attentive to us and our needs, so much in fact that she recognized my 2 year old beginning to have a melt down and she brought her colored pencils and an entire coloring book (that I believe she had purchased herself) and let us take it home with us.
If you are in the service industry in any capacity, I highly recommend that you make it a priority to book a table here and watch this chick work. I would bet that if you do it like she does you will triple your tips.
This really should be a 1 star review because Stacey has set the bar so high for me that every other dining experience until the end of time will be a...

My lunch partner and I decided to split the $25 chaqueteri tray. When we ask the waitress if it was adequate for 2 she said that it would be. We ordered 1 meat and 1 cheese to go on the tray and when it arrived we had 3 small half slices of cheese and 4 small slices of meat. The remainder of the tray consisted of a bunch of grapes, a handful of strawberries, a few pickles and olives, two small croissants, and 6 crackers. I felt it was a bit light for $25. The items were not exceptional and the...
