My fellow citizens of Shalimar and surrounding areas, this is the best place to go if you want you want your nose hairs to burn off and a free eye brow wax just by the smell of how spicy the MILD food is and cry for days after but with no tears since they evaporated. My coworkers and I ordered food and everyone’s was great expect mine and one others was way too spicy even though we ordered mild so I called I was told there’s a new chef who’s learning to measure the spice and was told by the person on the phone to just put more water in it, or soy sauce, or more rice which we’re limited to since it was a takeout order. I said I could eat mine but that my friend can’t eat hers and I asked for a replacement which I was told that a remake would probably end up the same way and then I asked if she could have her food replaced with something else which I was told yes. So I asked my friend what she wanted and decided to just replace it with 2 (2 since it’s closer in price to the meal but would’ve taken 1 as well) sweet rice and mango so she could eat that for her meal and the person on the phone said okay and it would be ready soon. Fast forward to my coworker coming back with no food and she said they were trying to make her pay for what we were made to believe was a replacement since we were told yes to a replacement. So I called back and was informed it wasn’t a replacement, and that it had already been over an hour so nothing can be done so now my friend has wasted $20 on food that is going to be thrown away because she can’t eat due to it being more spicy then swallowing an entire bottle of red chili powder in the desert with no fluids around you. So if you decide you want to suffer in pain after ordering mild food and not have a replacement this is your place. We were not told of a price of it over the phone so we believe it was a replacement and it was agreed to be a replacement, nothing about an hour was mentioned, and my friend wasted gas driving there and...
Read moreMy office is nearby and we thought we'd give this place a shot. Not gonna lie...being in the restaurant industry for as long as I have...I usually won't try a new place for the first couple of weeks.
The boss decided to buy us lunch today and I remembered the young lady who had stopped by and brought us a few menus. She was very kind and inviting...but as soon as I saw the name, "Thai Me Up," I KNEW I wanted to try it!! 😂😂😂
So happy we did!
We had the Spring Rolls, Tom-Yum and Tom- Kha Soups, the Beef & Broccoli and the Pepper Steak.
I eat Thai food regularly and have tried many different versions of some of my favorites. These were some of the best recipes so far!
Everyone loved their meal. Very impressed with your food and your sense of humor!!! Best wishes. We...
Read moreOutstanding Food! We had the Sweet and Sour Beef, Wonton Soup, and Thom Khu Soup. All of which were excellent. We ordered the food online and picked it up in 15 minutes. The food was hot and ready to go when we arrived.
Rachel, was friendly and professional. The place looked spotless and well kept. This isn't a "hole in the wall". But a nice looking place with a clean environment. And if your concerned about such things, from what I could tell, everyone was wearing masks and conforming to current CDC guidelines.
They are only 6 minutes from the Eglin West gate as well.
Now that we found them, we'll be coming back quite...
