After eating my Birthday Breakfast at Old Mill Eatery and Smokehouse in Shasta Lake City, I was on my way out of town and spotted this little coffee shop. I had to try it out....Heritage Coffeeshop is cozy and inviting, with a rustic charm that instantly made me feel at home. The smell of freshly brewed coffee filled the air, teasing my taste buds and awakening my senses. I ordered their Chai latte, and oh boy, it was pure perfection! The barista's attention to detail was evident in every sip, and the smoothness of the coffee was unparalleled. Not only is the coffee exceptional, but the staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to chat with me and make personalized recommendations, creating a warm and personalized experience. it was the perfect sweet treat to end my birthday celebration If you ever find yourself in this charming little town, make sure to stop by this hidden gem of a coffee shop. Read moreThis place was awesome. The menu was simple but everything seemed really well made. We ordered an affagato (espresso over ice cream) and an iced almond milk latte. The almondilk they use was thick and flavorful. A lot of almond milk lattes can be disappointing but I decided not to take a chance on real milk that day because we were traveling and I'd rather my stomach agree with me for the duration of trip and I'm glad it turned out so satisfying. $2.00 extra for oat milk in a special fall drink that comes standard with oat milk (not a substitution). Not even Starbucks charges extra for alternative milk if the drink comes with it standard. To be honest, it’s a little deceptive to advertise a drink as coming with oat milk as standard, but then charge $2 extra for it.
No option for adding single espresso shot. I asked for one but got and paid for two apparently . Only can add double shot for $2.50. $2.50 for 2 shots is high ($1.25/shot).
Also, when looking at the menu I noticed to add a flavor is $1.50. Most other cafe charge 0.50-0.75 to add flavor.
How were these two (only 16oz!!!) lattes $12 and $10 ? I have never seen prices that high anywhere else. These same drinks would be cheaper at almost every coffee shop you could go to in the area, with extra shots and all. Absolutely absurd.
