I just grabbed a 1/2 chicken combo off the menu.

I swear, readers, I had my whole order packed up and served to me in less than a minute.

Just seeing the chicken coming off the grill was appetizing. It has this great orange color. Great flavor, too. And the way it came off the bone so easily but wasn't falling apart, perfect texture.

The rice was very good for making tacos without dripping, but like most places, in my opinion, don't stand on their own. The beans sure do. A close second to the chicken.

The red salsa had just the slightest sting to the nose, a good aromatic part to the dish, but not that special.

Finally, the grilled jalapeño, charred only on one side, but soft enough to cut with the plastic fork, so I could add it to the tacos however I wanted.

I'd give the atmosphere a 3/5 because there was just one table. The truck itself is pretty fun, it's next to a gas station where you can grab other drinks, use a regular restroom, pretty good actually. But there's nowhere to eat but two black asphalt parking lots (umbrellas: useless) and a narrow strip of grass. In July 🥵.

First time here, I got the mixed plate. Which is 2 pieces of chicken (pollo) and 2 pieces flank steak (carne asada). comes with side of rice, beans, half onion, jalepeno and lime, 5 tortillas.
