I’m giving 3 stars because this is my favorite Mexican restaurant but with the change in servers, i want to give one star. I have been coming here since it opened and I’ve had nothing but good experiences every time until yesterday. Not only did the waiter lie to me about having cameras in the restaurant and that’s why he has to see people’s IDs, he was rude the entire time after I got back from getting my ID. Anytime we asked for anything he had an attitude like we were bothering him and he would tell us to wait. As we were checking out he was behind us asking the busser how much they thought we were going to tip him. Definitely not the best experience I’ve had here. I really wish they would bring back the old two waiters that are actually talk to you and are polite to their customers. The food and margaritas here are amazing so I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place that has authentic Mexican food. They just need new...
Read moreTried for the first time today. Not at all impressed. Starting off, we were seated and unceremoniously handed menus. Standard chips and salsa you can get at pretty much every other low end Mexican food eatery was dropped off. No smiles. No nothing. There were only two other tables occupied and this is not a big restaurant. We waited approx 10 minutes for someone (who had passed our table numerous times) to even ask if we wanted something to drink. Ordered taco w/rice and beans plus a chicken chimichanga. Again nothing separated the food from anything else you can get at other places like Abuelos Rosas or Cazadorez. My wife had a margarita that was made with tons of lime so barely drinkable. It was cheap though. Two dinners and a margarita was slightly under $20. The service was average to below average. Needless to say, won’t be returning. There are too many other places in town serving the exact same...
Read moreWent in to make a to-go order, placed my order. I get upcharged for one of the & I got some queso as well which now I see exactly what I got charged for. The dinner I think was $10 or $11 & I'm looking & looks like queso was $4 so I'm at $15 so the up charge was $3.50 give or take if you add tax at 10% this elementary size snack cost $20 almost even I got .35 back. Take a look mind you I paid almost $4 for potatoes & $4 for cheese. The salsa next to the cheese comes with it.. I went in because they had decent reviews but never expected this when I opened the box. Any other Mexican restaurant would've had left overs for 2days I'm gonna have to eat twice tonight! Very disappointing for a $20 meal. Like everything else wonder if I can take it back & get my money back, this has got me sideways & I'm usually the calm one.. I don't suggest getting anything to go if...
