I've eaten there many times. They have great food, affordable prices, very fast service and friendly staff. The perch sandwiches are fresh and tender with crispy breading. The pork chop sandwich was made of tender, lean pork, cooked on a charcoal grill and served on a buttered Sheboygan hardroll with your choice of condiments (I have raw onions and brown mustard.) The burgers are also served on a Sheboygan hardroll with a pat of butter and your choice of condiments (They are comparable to Krolls in Green Bay). Decor is 1960s basic diner with booths and tables. Bring cash because they don't take plastic or checks. The low prices make up for this.

What a cozy and wonderful little restaurant. Stopped here for lunch on a trip to sheboygan to pick up some equipment up the road. Boy was I glad I did. Extremely friendly staff, prompt, food prepared quickly and properly. I got the steak burger with cheese and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Boy that was a hell of a burger. The place has been around a long time and you can read the story on the back of the menu. The very kind server who took care of me was also a teacher to children which I thought was sweet. The fries are pretty standard but the burger is worth several trips back lmao. Definitely stop in here if your in the area it's absolutely worth it.

Another wonderful find that looks like nothing from the outside and a hem on the inside. The food was delicious and obviously fresh as you can see them press the burger into a patty and plop it on a coal fired grill. I could feel the freshness and the sensation of the grill only 20’ from us in an open atmosphere. The staff was fast, friendly, and always checking on us seemingly only when we needed it. The only 2 downsides was/is Cash Only, and the water is terrible. This was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. There is an ATM so you can get cash. I typically only order water, so this often a weight on my review.

I regret that I have to write this review because I have been coming to Schulz’s my entire life and I love coming back when I visit home. Their food is wonderful but my experience Saturday night 11/28 was pretty uncomfortable. My mom and I had a great dinner, but all throughout the meal the stress level of the employees exponentially rose. It seemed like things were calm when we arrived. A couple came in after we had our food and placed a $72 order. While they were ordering an employee called in sick. The manager was audibly and visibly upset. The stress level rose when the door dash beeper kept going off with new orders. Her mom arrived to seemingly save the day. However, when we paid our bill, a family of 5 walked in at 6:02. The manager harped that they were closing at 6 because it was a “hot mess of a day.” Her mom empathized with the patrons and made it seem like they could stay. The daughter scoffed at her mom and said “Mom you said 6” and the family confusingly left.

I felt bad for the family that came in to eat, but my mom and I were also standing right there and did not need to be part of the drama.

During these hard times, I would hate to see a family business that I love lose out even more because of a bad attitude.

Every person that comes in and every door dash bell that rings is another sale and another reason to keep the doors open. I was astonished at the negative attitude toward money coming in especially during COVID. A restaurant closing at 6pm on a Saturday night is weird even for COVID. Make sure to update your google listing to reflect any hour changes.

Your restaurant is your stage. If you have negative feelings or bad things to say— take it in the back and don’t let customers see you sweat. They come in for a nice ambiance as well as the food.

I made this review for the staff and the staff only. Once you’ve read it, please let me know and I’ll gladly take it down because I truly hope to see this...

Responding to another person's comment re: Schulz's steak sand! You may have gotten the incorrect meat? Maybe they changed product from difft company ... or ... The Cook didn't know what (HE) was doing/cooking (all cooks there have always been Male. Don't know why) I've lived in Sheb most of my entire life & I've had all their burgers, steak, & pork steak (ultimate! fave!), French Fries & cheese puffs (CURDS)(YUM!) & I've NEVER been disapptd by anything at Schulz's. Perhaps ... "you" SHOULD'VE SPOKE UP? THE MATTER CANNOT BE RESOLVED IF NOTHING IS EVER SAID and they don't know. It dsn't have to sound like a complaint if you explain in a nice way why you weren't thrilled OR satisfied w/STEAK sand but the burger was delicious! They are always pleasant & have always had GREAT food for the last 40+yrs I've been going there. Yum, yum, yum is going through my head right now! PS: I'll tell u something tho ... IF YOU ORDERED IT WITHOUT "BUTTER" YOU JUST RUINED THE ENTIRE STEAK SAND EXPERIENCE 😔 "THE BUTTER" IS THE KEY INGRED THAT MAKES THEIR SANDWICHES "MOUTHWATERING" 😂 (unfortun not always good for you, lolol). They're obviously doing something right to still be in business since 1953 folks (70 years!!!). KEEP IT COMING...

This place used to be so great. Delicious food, and great service. I arrived Saturday at 2:40. The sign said open, but all the lights were off. The employees ignored us while we stood there for about 5 min. The first words our of their mouth when they acknowledged us was "we close at 3, so if you order it has to be to go" in a condescending tone. We placed an order to go. While we waited for our food, other customers came in to try to eat and we're literally shouted at "we close at 3". Nobody even approached them, they got up and left empty handed. They also received people attempting to place an order to pick up on the phone, which they also treated very rudely. They literally made fun of the potential customer after they hung up the phone on them for even attempting to order. With employees like those, this classic restaurant will be closed down on no time. When we go out food, the pizza burger was undercooked and the fries were unsalted. We couldn't go back in to complain as they locked the doors as we exited (even though it wasn't...
