Vreeke's Tavern — Restaurant in Sheboygan

We stopped at Vreeke’s on a whim. Started off great, bartender/atmosphere was friendly and inviting. However, we put $20 dollars in the pull tab machine to find out that one of the rows wasn't working. We told the bartender so hopefully others wouldn't make our same mistake and she informed us that we should have known because the one button for that row wasn’t lighting up. She proceeded to tell us it wasn't her problem and she wasn’t going to hang a sign up to let others know because she didn’t want people to think it wasn’t working (so they could still play the other 3 rows) which is literally scamming people out of money. She then proceeded to threaten “to punch the old lady in the face” (one of our group members) and locked us out of the bar. I was there yesterday to meet up with a friend I haven't seen in awhile. Said friend had offered to buy my first few drinks since I hadn't planned in drinking to support this bar for previous rude experiences. As I was walking out I noticed a huge sandwich platter out for the customers, as I grabbed a very small portion the bartender Carissa Marie snottingly yelled "I HOPE THAT TASTES GOOD" so I just waved bye and then yelled again "THOSE ARE FOR PAYING CUSTOMERS". Who do you think you are treating people the way you consistently do, I did end up paying for my drinks, just because I didn't go up...

This is one of the few bars i go to in this city. I live in Sheboygan, and anyone here visiting will notice that there are bars everywhere. So, with a bar on every corner, I could easily go anywhere else.The nice thing about vreekes is that they have a really nice smoking room. Attracts a younger to middle aged crowd.
