Underwhelming Cake Decorating Class by tik tok influencers - Value Questionable

I recently attended a cake decorating class here with a group of 9, paying $50 each with a promo (regularly $70). While it offered a basic introduction, the overall experience was quite underwhelming for the price.

A quick note on their online presence: The website is currently down, and there's no clear information about what the class actually covers. This led to some confusion among our group, with some people expecting to bake the cakes as well, which is not part of this class.

Here's a breakdown of what to expect:

No Baking, Pre-made Cakes: You won't be baking; the cakes are pre-made and frozen, provided as three small layers (feeding 4-5 people, or more with very small slices).

Limited Decorating: Decorations are minimal, primarily paper cutouts and molded candy melt chocolate. Don't expect to learn advanced icing techniques. The class focuses on very basic skills: stacking layers with buttercream, smoothing the outside, and one simple texture technique.

Cake Quality: The cake flavors and frosting were quite bland, and there was an excessive amount of icing and filling, which was almost too much. Hardly any cake. At the end, they do offer a piece of their cake to try.

Class Structure & Pacing: The session was advertised for 2 hours. This included a 30-minute buffer for socializing and setting out snacks/drinks (which you need to bring yourself, as nothing is available onsite). However, the decorating portion felt rushed and was completed in about an hour. The remaining time was spent eating cake, taking photos, and boxing up the cakes (which you do yourself). So basically an hour wasted setting up your own snacks/drinks, boxing your own cake and eating a slice of theirs.

Cleanliness: Upon arrival, the cleanliness was a concern, with my shoes sticking to the floor. Some of the other girls mentioned the bathroom being just ok too. I could literally never get in because it was always locked or occupied.

Overall Impression: For the $50 price point, I found this class to be a rip-off. I had hoped for more diverse decorating techniques and a wider array of decorations. If the price were significantly lower, I might recommend it for someone who only wants to learn how to stack a tiered cake and apply a lot of frosting and filling to cheat a customer into thinking they have this huge cake LOL. Otherwise, it doesn't offer good value for money.

OMG what phenomenal experience. My great niece celebrates her Aunties every year with an amazing event and this year she did not fail again. We had the pleasure of going to this place and we all had a GREAT time. We We arrived We were greeted by Maddie and Maria who made us all feel so welcomed. They were very personable which felt they were apart of the family and was there to make sure we enjoyed every moment. It is not often you find employees of an establishment that are this nice and who represent they're employer to this extent. I was here this month for my cousins 6th birthday. It was fantastic. All the kids loved it.l, even the boys had a great time.

The way the staff explained each step for the kids was perfect, truly amazing.

The cake and frosting tasted delicious. The venue is so beautiful and joyful. You can tell the staff loves what they do. So much positive energy.

The staff was also very accommodating. The little dance party they do at the end was a hit with the kids.

I honestly can't sag enough great things about this experience. Plenty of room and space and everything was clean, even the bathroom!

My cousin who booked the party here said it was worth every penny.
