This place has really great food, everything I have had taste great! Good quality and the people there are super friendly. Only reason for 1 star dedication is because its so hard to get an order in. They don’t have anything ready to pick up on the spot - you have to place orders in advance. Which would be okay with me if they answered their phones. I sometimes call 6-8x a day for 2-3 days before someone picks up (and yes, I call on days/times their business is open). It’s super inconvenient especially if you were trying to place an order for a 2-3 days out. It’s also not my go-to place if I needed something last minute (like same day or a day before) since (1) they don’t take walk-in orders for same day and (2) they don’t answer their phones on a regular basis (and I’m not driving over 20 minutes to go in person to place an order). I tried fresh pies that a friend of mine picked up from here and placed an order on the same day. I ordered chicken burek, beef burek, potato chop, meat pies and cheese pies, as well as the date cookies and walnut cookies. All tasted amazing. I was pleasantly surprised that the cheese pies had cheese inside of them, not just cheese on the outside! They are willing to customize your order for example making smaller size pies or adding in parsley to the meat (thank you for doing that for me!) I am very picky and everything tasted amazing. Giving a five star rating based off the potato chop that was basically the size of my palm. However, after being in the store, waiting for our food for less than 10 minutes, I came out smelling of oil and grease. It was in my hair, jacket, and shirt. I should also note that it was very strange. They have a table set up on the wall next to the bathrooms with an industrial fanblowing towards the front door. I don’t think that’s very sanitary.
