Jade Tiki Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

I’ve been trying to find a good Chinese food place since I moved to Shelby Twp. Usually they have one good dish, but not everything is great. Not here! We got General Tso with big chucks of breaded chicken, tons of brocolli and a super tasty and spicy sauce. The egg roll was fried perfectly with tons of veggies and little shrimp. Even the “plain” fried rice had good flavor and consistency. We also order Crab Rangoon. They were superb. Tons of crab meat and lot of other flavors besides just being big ball of cream cheese like you get other places. Plus the sauces. I asked for the side of hot peppers and oil which Jenny brought me. When I applied it to my food she said it was too much and I wouldn't be able to taste my food. I was. When I told her that next time I would prefer that the tofu cube (which were at least an inch and a half cubes) to be half as high wide and long to only 3/4 in. cubes, Jenny told me that their cook was very good and he knew how to cook and if I had it the way I described I wouldn't be able to taste the tofu inside, (which is precisely the reason I requested it that way, because tofu is quite bland) so instead if planning to return, Jenny...

I will never stop going to Jade Tiki's as I have been going to get Chinese for 30+ years. Even when they moved we still take the drive. Egg rolls are so good and tje veggie LoMein is one of our family favs! I like something with a little kick so I like the General Chicken and if you order the dinner size with the rice and egg roll just order an extra egg roll and split as it is so much food. I have never found another place that tastes like Jade Tiki's some places come close with a few things but hands down any day you want GOOD Chinese food stop in and have some Jade Tiki's you will...
