Tit 4 Tat Tattoo Studio Inc. — Attraction in Shelby Charter Township

I have gotten two tattoos here and I will say that Melissa is talented and I would have recommended this place to everyone until my husband's experience there. He has a tattoo he wants covered up/fixed and when I got my last tattoo there Melissa agreed to take a pic of it and draw something up (which we paid a fee for). She said to give her a week or two to draw something up....a month later we hear from her and go see what she came up with. My husband made an appointment to have it done about a week or so later. My husband is a paramedic and ended up having to cancel the morning of the tattoo appointment (his appointment was at 1pm). Due to his line of work he cannot make many phone calls (or email, text, twitter or facebook) while working because he is saving lives and he starts early in the morning so he had to leave a message saying he couldn't make the appointment and that we were going on vacation in a couple of weeks so he would call back to make an appointment for the next month. My husband received a text back full of expletives about how rude he is for cancelling last minute and how he did it on purpose. I would post the exact text but they would probably not post my review due to all the bad language. I understand that he cancelled last minute but it couldn't be helped and the language and accusations in the mile long text Melissa sent was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. And by the way....although it is 2018 not EVERYONE communicates through text, twitter and facebook!!! Maybe if you cooled down and made an actual phone call to myself or my husband about this issue we could have had a civilized conversation about this and probably would have compensated you for the cancellation with a deposit toward the future tattoo and you would still have 2 customers and countless referrals......instead we will never be back or refer you to anyone.

In regard to the owners response below.....I will not pretend that how you handled the cancellation was acceptable either. And if you think that no one should ever cancel last minute you are not living in reality.....sometimes life happens. If you feel that is a good enough reason to lose (spelled correctly FYI) customers and referrals than good luck keeping your business running! Like I said above if you would have handled this in a civil manner we would have worked out some sort of compensation until his next appointment. You want to talk EXTREMELY offensive how about a text from you using the "F" word at least 5 times for cancelling an appointment. My dentist just lets me re-schedule and doesn't cuss me out.....imagine that!! At least my husband, who I doubt highly was laughing maliciously because that is NOT who he is, did not swear and call names like a 12...

Recommended by a friend to come here for nipple piercings. Amanda took me back. Place was very clean. Amanda looked at my anatomy pretty quickly and commented on my breast reduction scars saying “you’ve definitely had some work done” and calling me “chesty” she said she wouldn’t pierce me because of my anatomy. I didn’t have enough rise and that 1/2 inch to 1 inch is preferable for this type of piercing. Still standing their topless she said she could do it and take my moment but didn’t think it would look good. I was feeling very uncomfortable at this point. I start the get dressed and she’s says she does know what she’s gunna do for the next hour (since I wasn’t getting pierced) and that she’ll go smoke a bowl and get stoned. I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and very insecure about myself. Although the shop itself was nice and clean I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

I went in wanting three piercings and when I got there Amanda was very honest from the beginning and assisted us thoroughly. Unfortunetly I wanted a Daith (to see if it’ll help with my headaches/migraines) but my anatomy wouldn’t allow it, she did suggest a rook and it also has been said to help with headaches. While my friend was getting her piercing and I loved the alternative options she gave me, honestly a little more than my original Daith option. This honesty and knowledge instantly calmed my nerves down a good 90 percent because I knew I had someone that had a great portfolio and knowledge behind her. She gave us very easy and practical care instructions and had soap that they love there for after-care. I would 100 percent recommend for anyone interested in a piercing or tattoo.
