I wish I couldn't even give 1 star honestly......... I gave the company a chance to respond to my concerns and after two weeks have never heard back from them so I am posting my letter publicly.
I just wanted to make you aware of a situation that happened at your Sterling Heights, MI location at Hall and Mound.
While we were at this facility the young girl at the front counter let a couple in to use the bathroom that had no kids with them. The woman went to the bathroom for a long period of time and the man wandered around your facility, with shoes on and a large coat, he then began taking pictures of kids on the play place.
As a few of us moms were watching him it was very concerning and scary that this was happening and that these people were let in at all.
No other workers even were paying attention to this.
The man was confronted by one mom, and she said he told her he was looking to have a party here and was taking videos of kids playing. He showed the lady the videos but didn't delete them. That is not the story he told the girl at the front of his wife needing to use the bathroom.
At this point most of us packed up our kids to leave because we now felt unsafe.
Police were not called, and we tried to see what car they got into to get a license plate but never saw them even leave or where they went.
While this was happening another couple employees were taking our trash and propped the back door open and when they came back in, I went and told them our concerns. They smelled like weed and were obviously doing more than just taking out the garbage.
When we went to leave, I went to buy a couple bottles of water and was listening to the girl that let them in and another girl fighting. They were arguing about the girl clocking out and going home because she was in trouble for letting in the couple. The girl refused to leave and there was someone on the phone that was trying to convince her to leave as well.
It was completely unsettling and not a place I feel comfortable brining my kids to again. On top of us only being there a short time with your price to get in as well. They also wouldn't let anyone, including toddlers in diapers, in the toddler play area. This poor mom was sitting there with her son who was too big for the large play area and couldn't play in the toddler area. She was told this really is only for kids 11 months and under, so she paid $20 for him to not be able to do anything.
It was really disheartening that no manager or someone in charge was there.
I thought as a business you would want to know of this situation so you can fix it...
