WHAT UP DOUGH PIZZERIA — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

Amazing!! This is the real deal. Everything was perfect and it's clearly obvious they cut no corners and take the art of pizza making to a hole new level. The topping where fresh and heavily place equally around the pizza, the crust wasn't to doughy or to hard, I rarely say this about anything because I'm a perfectionist and I feel there always room for improvement but they are the exception. I couldn't find a negative thing to say if I tried. This is on the top of my list for best pizza best places I'v ever had and I'm a pizza connoisseur. I normally don't speak out against other people's reviews as it is there right to freely offer there opinion as I do BUT in this case I wouldn't allow at least one of the reviews to destruct you from ordering from here simply over an App issue. The fact this place even offers an App is impressive considering its only just this one location. This isn't Domino's who can afford to drop top dollar on a perfectly working polished App and these things take time to get the code just right. And for the idiot that waited an hour and a half, who's fault is that really? Yeah, I agree you should've just called after like 15 minutes once you realized something was wrong. If you were driving and your car all of a sudden broke down would you just sit in it on the side of the road saying to yourself I'm not calling anyone for help because it shouldn't have broken down? No you would call for help. Seriously how stupid and lazy have people gotten to where common sense is overridden by self entitlement? Ordered for the first and last time yesterday. Not only did it take 40 minutes to make two pizzas but it tasted horrible. The crust was black and burnt on both pizzas. I mean i dont know how you can mess up a cheese pizza but they figured it out. Seriously you would be better off throwing cheese on the pizza box and trying to eat that. The blt pizza had sad lettuce on it. It was all soggy and old(lettuce is supposed to be green). The mayo on is tasted sour and smelled bad(expired? Or not kept cold?). The dough sticks(was supposed to be bread right?)they had no taste and were tough like leather. But they were not burnt just be prepared its like eating beef jerky. A complete waste of money. No one even ate a slice it was that bad. Ended up throwing $30 in the trash....

Recently moved nearby. Awesome food and quality ingredients. Food is typically cooked a little overdone, which is great if you enjoy a nice crisp. None of their food is greasy or salty by comparison to most pizza chains. Stuffed burgers are great too. Every time we eat here this place moves up on our carryout list (as if it's not at the top by now). IF there is a downside, carryout orders are typically ready 10 minutes later than the online order estimate they give, or the longer time when ordering over the phone. Not necessarily a bad thing, just worth noting when comparing to large chains. I prefer to pick up my food fresh out of the oven anyways. Consistent quality and service every...
