Hands down the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We have gone here twice before and couldn’t even get in once they forgot we were waiting for a table and the second time the bartender had walked out and they were short on servers we ended up leaving because they couldn’t tell us how long the wait would be. Decided to give it one last shop because I really do enjoy the food at chili’s and didn’t want to drive all the way to Murfreesboro. First issue was after order our drinks and some chips and salsa it took about 20 minutes to get our drink and still no chips and salsa. I reminded the waiter about the chips and another 10 minutes goes by before it actually get to the table. At this point we have been at the restaurant over 30 minutes and have just now gotten our appetizer and still haven’t been able to order. We finally ordered and the food was out rather quickly about the only positive of this visit. By the time the food had got to the table. Me, my wife , and both of our children needed refills on our drinks. The waiter asked if we need anything else I told him just some refills and we would be good. He did not bring our drinks and I had to remind him again over 5 times that we needed refills. We received new drinks just as we were finishing our meal. One of my biggest pet peeves is not having something to drink when I am eating. I understand that places get busy I work in the service industry but this was unacceptable. We will definitely be making the drive to Murfreesboro from here on out to get our chili’s fix after 3 failed attempts at giving the Shelbyville location a shot. Read moreWe have had several bad experiences here in the past but we would come in just for the spinach queso. Today I took my 4 grandkids in for some appetizers. Ordered the White spinach queso first then 20 minutes later we ordered the triple mix appetizer and bbq boneless wings. Before I ordered the last two appetizers I asked her if it would be out quicker than the queso was taking since we had been waiting for 20 minutes before she had even showed up to ask what we would like. She said it would be out around 15 minutes, which it did arrive in that time frame. When the queso arrived that's when we got the chips. We use to get the chips first but no this time we had to wait 20 minutes and get them delivered together. I stirred the queso up like always and it was yellow and a hunk of cheese the size of a golf ball was not even melted and the queso tasted like a block of velveeta. I could not spot a waitress anywhere so I asked the hostess if she would take this to the back and let them see how under cooked it was. Never got a comment from waitress or a apology from management. The other appetizers were ordinary but eatable. Asked waitress for the bill and her commit was to use the electronic device on table and she pointed at it. I let her know it was not working! She brought the bill and she removed the cost of the queso but charged me for the chips! So I asked for management from the sweet hostess as waitress was no where to be found. Read moreWe waited over 2 hours for our food in an empty restaurant. There was a miscommunication, so we were patient and understanding. Upon bringing our food out the waitress dropped half the food on the floor. The other half that we were served was not what we ordered so we had to send it back and wait again. While waiting I felt bad for the waitress because she seemed to be having a rough time, so I started cleaning up the food that she dropped on the floor. After 15 minutes, she brought out a list arguing that I was lying about the partial order being incorrect, because the waitress who took our order (but ended up leaving shortly after) had written it down. I was still patient and explained that she didn't even take notes while we placed our order so when she went in the back she must have just ended up writing anything old thing down. This waitress' attitude was awful, even though I made every attempt to be understanding. An extremely obese employee came from the back and explained that she would give us a discount even though at that point I didn't care for one. To make a long story short, we ended up being overcharged even after explaining that our bill was wrong and being told that they were giving us a "senior discount" which was laughable. After 3 hours of our time being wasted, an incorrect, meal and an overcharge we just wanted to get our little kids the "eff" out of there. We will NEVER visit Chili's again.
