Hardee's — Restaurant in Sheldon

The boy that helped us at the counter rang everything in correctly and was nice. We had ordered curly fries for all of our combos + got regular fries (I never mentioned this we just ate them). My son's burger that was supposed to be a double, when I went up to tell them it was a single they were demanding I bring his single up which was half eaten. I said can you just make me a regular cheeseburger since we're missing a patty we paid for, he argued with me and said it was store policy. Then the cool came up and argued that it didn't say double, when it did. She made a cheeseburger. I love Hardee's, it's in my top ten fast foods.....when it's done right. Stopped in on 9/13/23 and first of was not even acknowledged by the guy at the register, made me wait and then just stood there, didn't even say hello. When I placed my order he was short with me and rude. Then to top it off my Fry's were cold, the gave me the wrong sandwich size (I usually get the big roast beef) and there was barely any meat on it, it was like I got the portion size for the regular, same thing on my wifes Big roast beef. And this isn't the first time, I often have my food poorly prepared or messed up. Breakfast I rarely have problem, but the night staff is terrible...

Wouldn't even rate them this... we sat in drive waiting for our food for 26min, felt sorry for the guy behind us who was boxed in and couldn't leave and was upset as well! I suggest not to pay for your food until you get your order, we say 19min after they took our money and gave us our drinks waiting on fries... which we found to be cold and soggy, as the burgers we ordered due to making them and haven us wait on the fries while all our food got cold ... no "sorry for your wait", would of been nice.... we understand short staffed, but really this service was down right HORRIBLE! Asked for a manager and had the window shut on us! Way to treat...
