Planet Pizza — Restaurant in Shelton

Pizza is good, sadly, they throw away any pizza left over (the various pizza's at the counter meant for slices, etc) at closing time! I watched them dump around 4 lg pizza's into trash, yet they won't even offer it to customers, not even at a discount price, to keep it from going into the trash. The "boss" said no, and that's sad! So many people starving in the richest country in the world, it's the principle of it too. I'm not saying to create a liability risk, lots of companies do this, but its a faminly owned place. but they just sold me one of those slices, and then just dumped the rest into a large trash container, and I even asked for some of it, possibly at a discount or something. They barely even responded as they dumped all that food into the garbage without even a thought, and this is just one night, at one location!! Poor ethics. I think next time I'll go to the place a half mile up the road, just as good pizza. This whole thing just...

The food at the restaurant is amazing. The staff is horrible. I order often and the person over the phone never tells me how much I am charged, he will then often add things to your order. For example I ordered a cheese pizza which is 10.99, and he hung up before I got my total. Then I get an alert from the bank I was charged 29.56! I had to call and complain and the manager or person claiming to be the manager acts annoyed. Then if your the store again they spend a few minutes behind he counter just looking at you without helping you. Further they again give you an attitude, the only reason I still order is because the food is good. If it was any less below what the quality of the food is, the place would most likely close down. We’ve ordered from here multiple times and it’s usually just ok. We like to order from them because they take cash and it’s just easier for us sometimes. Last night was the last time we will order from them. All the food came cold, the French fries were soggy, the pizza was cold, and the sausage broccoli rabe pasta was pathetic! I called to complain and the “manager” i spoke to was not helpful and kept asking me what I wanted from them! Ever hear of customer service before? Apparently not. We got another pizza sent over which was hot this time but what am i supposed to do with 2 large pizzas for 2 of us? Really just so annoyed. If the manager would have been helpful i wouldn’t be writing this bad review. Maybe you guys will learn from this experience. Too bad...
