I went to this Walmart tonight around 9:30 pm. I go to Walmarts often and I am always greeted with friendly staff and customers. As soon as I walked in the store, myself and a friend were being stared at like we had 3 heads. We stayed anyway and shopped just trying to have a nice time. While shopping, there were multiple staff sitting around on their phones and doing nothing. In the food section I noticed opened boxes and moldy bread. It wasnāt just a few specks like it had just gone bad, no. This was weeks of mold just built up. Iāve never seen something like it in my life, not even in the trash. I instantly put food items back not wanting to buy anything edible there after seen that. When I checked out at self checkout with my few items every staff member who was nearby stared at myself and my friend as if I were going to steel⦠when we walked out apparently the normal doors were lock for the night (it was 10:30 pm the close at 11pm) I feel i should mention I was on a ride on scooter because I am handicapped as well as my friend. The staff member who said the door werenāt working said it in a way that could only be interpreted as frustration and judgement as if he thought I was incompetent. Once i finally went out the front door that wasnāt supposed to be for customers I went to the handicapped spot I parked in. I got off the ride on scooter and into the car only for a staff member to yell loudly that I have to bring the scooter back. Iāve never gone to a Walmart store and had to bring a scooter for handicapped people (people who canāt walk!) back to the store and then WALK back to my car. Obviously if I was using one of those embarrassing things there was a reason. But the staff member kept yelling in another language and waved his hands at myself and my friend dramatically before swearing under his breath at us in English. Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlthough, in general, I find this Walmart location to be clean, well-organized, and properly staffed, I have to comment on the store's gift card policy as it relates to Apple gift cards. On a recent shopping trip I purchased an Apple Gift Card and received all the proper validation codes, etc. I walked to the car and tried adding to my Apple account and received multiple messages that the card was invalid. Thus began a week-long series of conversations and emails that wasted my time and resulted in nothing.
I immediately returned to the store but Customer Service stated that all gift card sales are final and that there is nothing that they can do and that I should call Apple. I called Apple and they indicated that the problem was with Walmart and that there was nothing that they could do and that I should contact Walmart Corporate. I called Walmart Corporate and was again told that there was nothing that could be done as the gift cards are handled through a third party and they are not responsible. Walmart Corporate told me to return to the store and really plead with the store manager to refund the money. Really? I'm supposed to plead to get my money back because of their problem? I went back and without pleading asked for a refund with management and got nothing. I've since filed a complaint with the attorney general's office but expect nothing to happen.
In summary, I will never buy a gift card from Walmart again because they do not support the customer. Buy your pet food and school supplies here but do not take a chance...
