While railfanning, my son and I got hungry. We picked this place and wouldn't ya know it, it happens to be sitting in the lap of the active rail-line. How close you ask? My seat shakes when the trains wiz by! 🤣 At first, I was suffering some sticker shock for a sub, pizza, two fountain drinks, and a side of onion rings. The food came and I think the price is a super-value! The onion rings were huge!!! The pizza (12" mushroom and tomato) had FRESH sause!!!! I didn't order extra cheese but I received it! I couldn't see the sause!!!!!! I asked and not only is the sause fresh, but the dough is made fresh daily!!! The small meatball sub was 8 inches of cheesy goodness! And the trains ran every 15 minutes. 😁 Ok, so this little hole-in-the-wall pizza place is a fantastic, family friendly eatery that is not only worth the trip, but the price as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From me!

The “soft opening” was 03/01/24 and the place has been super busy from the time the door unlocked. They have ordered extra pizza pans and proof every pan (over 100 total) every day. The oven holds 6 large pizzas and is packed full constantly. There’s a line of customers to the door! The new owners owned their own pizza shop for years- they have plenty of experience. They’ve tried their best to keep the exact recipe as the original Tommy’s. It’s a busy happening atmosphere! If you really want your pizza, better get it early! Demand is bigger than supply ❤️

Ordered the half pepperoni/ mushroom pie and a stromboli. It😃 seems a W.V./ Maryland Stromboli's that are made is in a calzone form. It was good, the sauce on the pizza has a unique flavor in a good way! Tastes of a hint of wine, or it's just my imagination? We both enjoyed our lunch! Wonderful and kind staff . Will go again!

Tommeez Pizza is easily the best pizza in the Shepherdstown area. They don’t skimp on toppings, and everything tastes super fresh. The crust has that perfect balance of crispy and chewy, and you can tell they put effort into making a quality pie.

On top of that, the staff is awesome. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, and the woman who I assume is the owner couldn’t have been nicer. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back, not just for the food but for the overall experience. If you’re in the area and want great pizza, this...
