Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Sherwood

I was here last night about 5:30pm and the people were nice and very welcoming. Place was clean, the only thing was that our meal came out within 5 minutes after ordering and we are a family of 5 so we all had combos. The food was not fresh, I could tell it had been sitting in the warmers for a while. When my husband comes home from work sometimes I don't feel like cooking so we eat out. My older son comes home from school we all want a nice hot and fresh meal and I was not pleased with the texture of our meals. Didn't want to bring it to managers attention because we were so hungry enough as it was. We don't need anything from the store just that I always prefer to have them make the food fresh after us having a long day. None of us really enjoyed it but we also did not want the food to go to waste. If I am there next time I will request my food to be made while I am there because after all I am paying for it and it ruins having a great time to enjoy a nice meal if it is not fresh. We want to eat without having to worry of how displeasing food is when it's cold and hard when we eat the food. We want to enjoy our time in a nice atmosphere with my family. So it was a disappointment for all of us. Hopefully the cooks will not let food sit in warmers just so they won't have people waiting. It's better to wait for fresh hot food we are paying for. One more thing. We are from Texas and I was really going for a steak finger basket and my son wanted tacos. The Dairy Queen stores have them in their menu in Texas so why wouldn't Sherwood have these on the menu? Those were the best...

We are independently contracted drivers. We went through the drive through as we do with every reastraunt we deal with as we are legally disabled and it is much easier. We delt with the manager John Bullock who blatantly refused to hand the order out. We explained that the American Disabilities Act Federally mandats that reasonable accommodations be made for persons who are disabled. To refuse to do so is a federal crime that is punishable with both prison time and a hefty fine. We advised Mr. Bullock of all of the above. When we requested the contact information for his district manager and or owner he refused to give that information out stating he isn't allowed to. I told him we had called the customer service line that advised to call the store and ask for that information from the store as each location is independently owned and franchised. And I asked whether or not he was a manager. He stated that he is, so again I asked. He advised to call in the morning to request the information and maybe they would give it to me. He was extremely rude, hateful,literally yelled at us. I advised him to get a lawyer. A police report has been filed. It wasn't done to " be a Karen" but, rather to educate. Because , what he did Is a Federal crime. The ADA is intact to protect persons of disabilities. Dairy Queen should be ashamed of themselves for this atrocious unexceptable behavior. It has also, been reported to the company we are contracted through who takes this type of behavior...

Worst fast food experience I've ever had. Took three times repeating our order, yes we were inside, before it was repeated back correctly, the woman taking the order seemed to be completely out of it. Sat down and waited on our food, it was just two of us. Finally, the food was brought out to us, about the only thing correct were the drinks, (we got those ourselves) both burgers were wrong and cold, told another worker and she said they would fix them, mind you, we've been there about 30 minutes but this time and had an appointment in about another 30 minutes. Some other worker , I have no clue if he was a manager or what, he then proceeded to question us about our order and what was on the receipt. I had to point out to him the discrepancies between the order and what it was supposed to be. He finally said they would remake them, we'll they did, and lo and behold they were both wrong again, plus the added bonus of partially cooked patties on the double. I can promise we will never darken the door of this establishment again. Do everyone a favor and just lock up and go home....
