Stopped by here on a trip from San Antonio to Houston and got the chopped brisket sandwich. It was a big and meaty sandwich that does right by Texas barbeque. And at eleven bucks for the combo with chips and a drink, it is reasonably priced. I also got the coleslaw which was pretty tasty.

Read moreA great spot to grab a bite, especially if you're a taking a Shiner Brewery tour. You can enjoy your meal outdoors in the garden or closer to the action near the stage and bar area. Their BBQ menu features the classics: brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork, sausage, ribs, sandwiches, and sides. While you won't find turkey on the BBQ menu, they do have a "grab-n-go" fridge with options like chicken salad, cheese, fruit and veggies, or ice cream for a quick snack.

They should call it something else cause it's pretty much wet cake mashed down and with some peaches thrown on top. It's not really a cobbler just a heads up. I've never had their version of a Peach cobbler I didn't like it at all I threw it away very disappointing. No crust no actual dough just thick mushy soft cake and peaches it was weird. I should taken a picture of it but it made it to the trash...
