Cold dark bar, like it should be. Couldn't get a Shiner at the brewery. Closed for the pandemic. Had to get a Shiner before I left Shiner. Came across this little bar. Barkeep was friendly. Beers were cheap. Some local yokels regulars were harmless. Decent way to spend a little pause...

Karen is great. The bar is small, there's a dart board and pool. It's really low key but everyone is friendly and on Friday at 7 it was fairly busy but not at the expense of service. There is no liquor here. Beer and wine, but the shiner is 2.50 so...
