Rosati's Pizza — Restaurant in Shorewood

I am responding to the owner of Rosati's Pizza who posted a response earlier today to my daughter, Erika Mytnik's, review of our recent experience using Rosati's catering services. Mr. Owner, you are either very misinformed on the facts here or are just embellishing to make your place look good, BUT let's set the facts straight!.......... I'm the mom and I never at any time said, "Everything was perfect!" That couldn't be further from the truth! I called Mon.after our party & was told to call back on Thursday & speak with Greg because he handled the order. When I spoke with Greg, I told him exactly what Erika posted in her review.... "Everything except the chicken was good: the chicken was overcooked!" Several party guests also commented the same to me. We were disappointed, as we had always heard Rosati's in Shorewood does a great job. Greg was kind & responded that "he'll personally take care of our order next time & make it better!" No mention of a credit or partial refund! Sorry Rosati's, but there won't be a next time! Disappointing that our first experience will also be our last...

Arrived for my order 5 minutes early, my pizza was ready and in their warmer, the rest of my order was not. I was asked no less than 5 times what my last name was, they would open the warmer, look at the order on my pizza and close the door. In the mean time another customer is waiting to speak with a manager due to online mixup and wanting a refund. Someone who says they were an assistant manager comes up front yells at the other customer he's getting his money refunded and to leave before the police are called and that he needed to learn how to place an order online. Showing obviously zero customer service experience. At this point I asked how much longer for my order and that my pizza has been in the warmer for over 15 minutes now and all I was waiting for was cheesy garlic bread, they check again. Finally, after waiting for more than 20 minutes for my food I drive home with old pizza and burnt garlic bread. I'll go back to my Plainfield Rosatis and never be back to...

I order from the Shorewood IL Rosatis quite often, and it's always very tasty. Tonight I picked up my free 16 inch two topping pizza, but in reality I paid for it it's just I had a free pizza on my account that I hadn't picked up just yet. The pizza was burnt and extremely well done, the cheese on every slice was dark brown, almost black. I never order any pizza well done, just normal so it's not like I ordered well done and they over did it on accident. Anyway, it was so overcooked every bite you took I had to wipe the flying crumbs off of me because the crust was cracking everywhere. Needless to say after 2 pieces I wanted nothing else to do with the rest of the 16". I feel like I got this carelessness because today I didn't have a charge to pay which is totally unfair because I paid for the pizza prior but didn't get it so I had a free one added to my account.. I hope management sees this...
