When Andy’s first opened in Bossier my husband and I frequented a lot more than we should have but it was just oh so good. So when they opened one in Shreveport, where we live, I was ecstatic to have one a lot closer. The first time I went I got the snow monster with marshmallow crème in the middle and it was mediocre at best. They forgot my marshmallow crème but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt being a new store, new employees and all. The second time I ordered the turtle sundae and you really can’t go wrong with that one, it was delicious as usual. Tonight I went and thought I’d try the peach dream. Everything about it sounded delicious, juicy peaches, caramel crème swirls and malt mixed into a vanilla concrete. When I got it it looked delicious I took one bite and it was like having peach cobbler, minus the cobbler, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Everything was going great until about a quarter of the way down and all the good yummy stuff was no where to be seen! 3/4 of my peach dream concrete was just that, a dream! 1/4 of great deliciousness and 3/4 of straight vanilla concrete. Which don’t get me wrong the vanilla concrete alone is delicious also but that’s not...
Read moreI’ve gone to this Andy’s multiple times since they have opened and the custard tastes pretty good, however it is almost always over halfway melted each time I get it. My suggestion would be to lower the temperature of the freezer they have the custard in. I went by today and had one employee tell me she couldn’t do a mix of vanilla and chocolate custard when I’m aware that it is in fact an option. Today I waited at the window forever for my concrete and when I finally got it, it was mostly melted and had a tainted taste; which is not their normal. I came back to ask for a refund and they were very polite(young lady at the window) and the manager was very nice and asked if they could refix it instead. I said yes, and that one tasted much better! I appreciate the manager being open and friendly! The workers may need a bit more training on how to properly fix...
Read moreI’m not the type to leave reviews but the experience was awful that I just had too. I understand they just opened however they messed up the order multiple times. I asked The girl taking my order (she had bright red hair) that I wanted a banana split. I asked for it to have chocolate on the sides vanilla in the middle (chocolate, vanilla, and chocolate) she looked at me like I was asking for something crazy and didn’t understand so I had to explain that banana split usually has 3 scoops of ice cream and then she caught on but still managed to messed up my order 2 times to the point I had to get it remade. Even on the second time it was still wrong so I just left and was just happy with what I did get. Also the bossier location takes military discount but the worker at this location said she didn’t know if they did or not and didn’t even brother to...
