Since arrival in Shreveport, this has Been one of my family and my favorite little spots to visit on the weekend- We love the little sliders and the fresh fries. HOWEVER- My last couple of times have been less than satisfactory on the service side. At our most recent visit, we were encountered by a lady who open the window to take our order very hastily and impatiently. We order the same order- the same exact way each time, we added bacon to our sliders, and then asked her if the Cook could make the bacon extra crispy. She charged us for Bacon, plus extra bacon- When brought to her attention, she was very defensive (& rude) and said that that is how it was supposed to be charged, even though we were simply explaining to her for future reference that we did not ask for bacon plus extra bacon , we asked for the bacon that added to be cooked extra crispy. She hastily closed the window on us. We'd also asked for extra pickles on our sliders, and when we began to eat on the patio, there were no pickles. I went back to the window to ask for the pickles- Young lady that originally took our order turned around and looked at me as I knocked on the window and turned her back towards me and never acknowledged that I was at the window. Another young lady eventually came over to assist, and she was very sweet and kind. While waiting at the window, I observed the workers standing around, leaning on counters and all on their cell phones. It almost appears that there's teenagers on shift- no adults -or at least no mature adults. About eating on the patio, a couple of other people parked from the drive-through to return items to the window. We love this little place and we hope that management does not allow lack of professionalism or customer service to affect business & customer loyalty. We need new and nice places like this one in Shreveport, but sadly, Customer Service like this usually yields them to be empty and out of business. The food, however, was great. Hopefully the next visit...
Read moreWhen compared to all the other offerings iin Shreveport this place is a nice addition but does nothing better. The team is friendly and as fast as their set up allows them to be. The food is ok. It's sliders so its like getting half a burger with extra fries. The queso with the fries actually makes the fries better but if youre not a seasoned fry fan it will only taste acceptable. I can't believe they didnt think outside the box with this concept and include other sliders besides burgers. The prices $5.99 for one slider fries and drink $7.99 for two etc is reasonable but one Whataburger meal for $7.99 will get you the same thing with all the veggies. The biggest issue here is the drive thru Im not sure how they came up with the flow but it doesnt especially because they are just opening so its extremely busy. The double menu board set up with the Chik-Fil-A like outside drive-thru order takers does nothing to speed this up. They need to take a cue from Whataburger which does double drive-thru lanes the best. I see Smalls Sliders doing great business but as the newness wears off and new fast food options with fresh ideas open up here in Shreveport/Bossier it will become just another...
Read moreWe had a wonderful experience at Smalls Sliders in Shreveport! While it’s a little pricier than your typical fast food, the quality of the food is outstanding. The burger meat tasted like something you’d expect from a sit-down restaurant rather than a fast food joint, which really sets it apart.
The portions were decent for the price—we were able to feed a family of four with two 4-burger meals. The service was incredibly friendly and impressively fast, making the visit even more enjoyable. The seating is a bit limited, but the bathrooms were very clean, which is always a plus.
Overall, I would highly recommend Smalls Sliders! I’ll definitely be returning in the future, especially now that they’ve opened a location in Pensacola, FL. If you’re looking for great burgers and top-notch service, this is the...
