Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Shreveport

I recently ordered the following: • A 10-piece special for $12.99 (spicy chicken) • Two 2-piece specials for $2.99 each (spicy chicken) • Two large mashed potatoes • One large okra • One large drink

I waited between 45 minutes to an hour for my food. Despite the delay, I waited patiently, expecting fresh, high-quality food. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

When I arrived home, I discovered the following issues: My chicken was regular, not spicy as I specifically ordered for all items. The mashed potatoes were not filled to the top as they usually are. The okra was not hot and did not seem freshly cooked.

After calling to report these issues, I was informed that the chicken would only be replaced if I returned all of it, even though I had already eaten two pieces due to being hungry after the long wait. I explained that I couldn’t return immediately as I had to rely on someone else for transportation. I had gone out of my way to visit your restaurant, bypassing several others because I love your spicy chicken.

Additionally, the employee I spoke with was dismissive and unhelpful. Rather than offering an apology or attempting to rectify the situation, she became defensive and suggested it was my fault for eating some of the chicken. I felt this was poor customer service, especially since the mistake was on your end.

I am a loyal customer and have been visiting Church’s Chicken almost daily for the past month and a half. I am deeply disappointed in this experience, both in terms of the quality of food and the attitude...

It was closed for insde service and their drive up wasn't working. But the young lady and man did not let that stop them. They took our order and were very quick and helpful. We had wanted to try the new garlic butter shrimp. I know it was only hour before closing,but we got leftovers. The shrimp was warm but it had been under lights too long. They were generous with their portions. But I don't think we saw the best of this dish. The shrimp were small and some had a tail and some were so thickly coated you couldn't find the tail So you guessed and I ended up chewing two tails before I knew it. They had wonderful fried okra and I think we were given an extra portion. To get rid of it. But in all fairness. We usually love their shrimp they service during lent. We will try again. The biscuits were so crispy on outside mouth started hutting. But we will try...

This is by far the worst churches I have been to. I gave this place several chances but everytime the food is garbage. This bums me out because I love churches. Seems like everytime we go here they are put of certain pieces of chicken. The mashed potatoes are always dry even with the gravy mixed in. The Mac and cheese is somehow always burnt. Okra somehow never has breading on it. If you get the tea in the bags it is always covered in either tea or some other sticky substance. The employes are always outside smoking weed instead of working. When you go inside there is at least 3 osha violations. Sad to say I will never eat at this...
