Came to this restaurant for the first time today to try their Italian ice that I've been wanting to try for a while now. I drive all the way there from over an hour away to not get served! I showed up right as they were closing, after speeding across town to try & make it before closing while also seeing other cars in the drive thru line. They were all able to get serviced meanwhile I didn't. The little girl turned the menu off as she saw me reading the menu, after we both made eye contact, so I knew it was intentional & she found it funny in doing so. When I finally reached the window to order, four little girls were hiding behind the machines & behind the window laughing refusing to take my order. After being caught, they all tried to come out of hiding but were still continuing to hide & laugh about it, all the while going back & forth with one another saying that they weren't going to take my order. A group of little girls playing in the drive thru refusing to take my order when I was the last car. What's one more car? What's one more cup of ice? I thought it was completely childish & pathetic the way these teenage girls acted but what do you expect from 14-16 year olds? It was completely inappropriate & childish. I just drove off after I saw them hiding & laughing because they refused to take my order. I was having a bad day due to the anniversary of my grandfathers passing & tried my best to make it across town to try this spot for the first time just to be disrespected & laughed at by a bunch of teenage girls who wanted to play hide & go seek...
Read moreAwesome customer service and respect for their customers! If you've ever been here at prime time, you know the line can be a bit crazy. We were waiting in line to turn into the drive thru, leaving space for oncoming traffic. A vehicle saw the line, but decided to cut in front of me anyways. After a few minutes, an employee came out and asked me if the vehicle cut the line. He then confronted the vehicle. When that vehicle drove up to the window, they would not service them (even though they were very intently trying to justify their actions). The employee said he told them they could get back in their designated place in line, but they decline and tried to skip the line anyways. I don't think they got back in line because it had tripled in size by that point. These employees didn't have to do anything, could have ignored it, didn't have to engage in confrontation, but they did it. Thank you Happy Belly's! A+...
Read moreI’ve come here on several occasions with my children and we love the shaved ice and the great customer service. Until today! I asked if they have a military discount and the young lady told me that in order for me to use it I would need a proper i.d. and I would need to be on active duty or a veteran. Which I am. She told me my id wasn’t valid and after paying with my USAA card told me to have a nice day. My VA medical card wasn’t valid id. I tried to explain my DV plates and card showed I was a veteran she told me to have a nice day. Those are her owners rules. I would need to take it up with them.
