We spent almost $100 for garbage food. Last night, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves and try something new and order in. We ordered mongolian beef, garlic shrimp, beef fried rice, the crazy roll, and asparagus roll. First of all, we asked that the crazy roll not have any fish eggs (masago) on it. It came with it and there was no way to scrape it off because it was inside the roll. My husband had to throw it away. Then, he went to eat his garlic shrimp and he said it tasted more like watered down brown sauce than garlic sauce. He said it even had a faint taste of cardboard. For me, the asparagus roll was very bland. It tasted like grass. I've had asparagus rolls at so many restaurants, and they always pickle the asparagus first. It gives it a very nice tangy flavor. This was just raw asparagus. It was like eating grass. I only ate a couple pieces and threw it away. I moved on to my mongolian beef and every bite I took, the meat was greasy and slimy. The actual taste was more like a watered down version of mongolian sauce. The third bite I took was so greasy and slimy that I thought I took a bite of hot garbage. I threw it away and decided to split my fried rice with my husband (that was supposed to be the next days lunch for me). We looked at the rice and knew right away it would be bad. The meat was grey in color like it had no flavor and we were right. We took a bite and it tasted as if they cooked the fried rice, then dumped it into a strainer and rinsed it under the faucet for a few minutes. Zero flavor. I wish I was exaggerating. We threw that away and I jokingly said, "Well, at least we have a fortune cookie or two"....and went back to the bag and saw there was only one cookie in there. I kid you not, we split that ONE fortune cookie and called it a night. We went out this morning for a nice breakfast since we woke up starving. We will never try this place again. I have no idea how or why they have any good star reviews...but I will tell EVERYONE to stay away. This place should be ashamed...
Read moreWalked in and was immediately greeted and seated. We picked a booth and ordered drinks. The beer was cold and it was happy hour, so that was a plus! The music was very relaxing and wasn’t too loud either. We started with the PuPu platter, which came on the plate that would spin and had a little grill like thing in the middle of it. A+ for showmanship! Seriously though, the appetizer was very good. The egg drop soup we ordered was delicious! The waitress said it was freshly made in house. We then ordered a sexy beach roll and it was really good too! The fish was really fresh. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit here and will definitely be back. The waitress was really nice and very helpful, so kudos to her! Y’all should definitely give this...
Read moreFound a hair in our food twice in one week. Both hairs are about 9 inches long. Ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was like a cheap hood gas station version of sweet and sour chicken. Odd shaped , no uniformity , some pieces burnt and uneditable. It was disgusting and then my daughter pulled out another hair from her beef and broccoli... I tossed the sweet and sour chicken in the garbage and made a sandwich. Waste of money... 🤮 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮 They take no pride in their food... They also own the great wall on pines road. I will also never eat at either location again. If I want cheap buffet chicken food. I will just go to a cheap buffet and at least get a variety of bad food....
