Their coffee was pretty decent. They were out of a lot of things, so the food we did end up getting probably isn't a good representation of their menu. We had their cinnamon bread though, and that was crunch and pretty good. That's about the extent of what I can review! if I find myself in the area again, I might give it another try. I do love the atmosphere, they had a great rotation of music the day I went. The staff was friendly. Everything on the menu sounded so good. I did try one of their bottled drinks, I can't remember the name of it, but it had ginger and cayenne. It was pretty good! Really opened up the senses. And I love that they offered liquor shots for the coffee... Even though they were out. lol In all honesty, I was just happy to be out of the state of Texas. Ironically, the first place we visited is on Texas street. But, even if all I was able to try was their bottled drinks, I would have rated this place high just for being first on my list out of a crappy state. lol (but my review is genuine, nevertheless).

In town for a work meeting and was looking for a local spot to kill a few hrs in between meetings..... Christmas miracle I found this! The barista allowed me to sample the "white lightening" as I was concerned it would be too sweet, it was spot on and as an avid hazelnut Americano drinker I wouldve paid for a tap of this at my house! Heaven! The spot was clean in a newly renovated "main street" building with cool exposed piping and "vintage" styling. Light alt rock music piped over the stereo. Once I found a shades corner from the roasting sun I was set! I didn't sample the food, which looked fresh and quality. I may not come back to the casinos in Shreveport, but I will make a point to revisit Rhino Coffee!

Normally, when I visit this location , the staff is awesome, however , this is not the time.! I ordered an ice coffee. The female , that made my coffee hot . I told her it was supposed to be an ice coffee, and given me serious attitude. I asked for some Splenda, she gave me sweet & low . I told her the sweet &low is fine , and I said thank you . She didnโt even say anything back . Not a word . She was very rude . I didnโt get her name , but sheโs a white female , with black and blond hair . She wears glasses also . Iโm gonna continue to come to this location , cause itโs cool, but I hope I never get her again . WORST EXPERIENCE EVER HERE!! ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ

My sister and I were in Shreveport for a mini vacation . Our hotel was 5 minutes away from this coffee shop so we decided to try it out . I got a honey, vanilla, shaken espresso and my sister got a iced caramel latte. The espresso was a good quality and tasted well. However, they are coffees are more on the nonsweet bitter side so if you like sweet coffee, I would recommend letting them know beforehand to make it sweeter! The two ladies that helped us out were nice and we also got the breakfast burrito, which was really good however, I feel like it would be better if the salsa was spicy but overall good experience.

Coffee was great and I appreciated the nondairy options. A medium here is pretty sizeable and despite it being a little pricey (my bill was 10 bucks for coffee and a cookie) not a bad deal. The place has cool hipster vibe and that's the kind of crowd you should expect. It's in a beautiful building and has in door and outdoor seating. Adorable interior and the staff is pretty nice. The baked goods were better looking than they actually tasted. The scone was dry and the lemon tart lacked taste, but the cookie was delicious. Not a bad place to grab a coffee with your girl friends.

After asking the interwebs, this appears to be the best spot for a coffee in downtown Shreveport. After a couple of questions about the coffee they are pulling on espresso, the barista graciously directs me away from espresso, the machine is not pulling well today. Very appreciated. I get a French press of their light roast Ethiopian, not other details on the coffee. It's a nice funky smooth coffee. A fine way to start a Sunday. I also got a rhino biscuit. This is a massive biscuit with egg cheese and sausage. Awkward but tasty.
