Absolutely a waste of money. There was ZERO flavor! Very disappointed! Let me begin with I've been in the restaurant industry since I was 15 and in worked every position from dishwasher to prep to server/bar to management. I really do not like leaving bad reviews, but today was one of the few exceptions. The only reason I gave a star at all was the service while ordering. The staff was friendly and answered my questions (however wrong the answers turned out to be). That being said, that was the only thing deserving of any positive comments. My kids and I have been wanting crawfish for awhile and finally decided to splurge today. $55+ for mediocre food (and that's being generous) was very disappointing. While the size of the crawfish was nice (I paid extra for the premium) there was absolutely no flavor. None! No Cajun anything, not even salt. The corn was over cooked and mushy, the hush puppies were rock hard, dry, and the oil hadn't been changed it quite some time. When we ordered I asked if the crawfish were spicy, I was told "yes, hot and spicy" Once home and everything sampled I was so blown away by the lack of flavor. Normally one might have to worry if crawfish will be too spicy, I don't think I've ever had to ask if they are seasoned at all. I called and asked again. Again, the response was "yes, hot and spicy" to which I responded well then y'all must have missed a batch because we just picked some up and there is no flavoring, none at all. Nothing sincere and no offer to speak to manager or would you like to return and get some that are seasoned (if they really do know how). I am so disappointed. Read moreDO NOT and I repeat DO NOT eat at this location. I found a dead and COOKED larvae of a very large bug in my food. When I went back with the rest of my food that I didn’t eat the manager on duty told me that she could not give me a refund since I had already eaten most of my food. I told her that the bug was at the very bottom of the bag and there was no way in SAMS HELL that I could have seen or predicted there to be anything other than the food I ordered in my bag. She told me that it was okay and that they got complaints about people finding bugs and other objects in there food ALL THE TIME. She even told me she found snails and frogs in her food there and that it was a part of life. She said had it been her she would want a refund but they weren’t allowed to give refunds unless it was very extreme. She was rude, very unfriendly and I do not recommend anyone to eat at this location. I have her on video and pictures of the big I found in my food. This woman repeatedly put her hand in my face and got loud with me when I was nothing but respectful to her. When I asked to speak to the general manger she got scared and said there was nothing she could do but write down my name and number and he might get back to me. Once we got done talking she never wrote down my name or number and ran back inside after telling me there was nothing she could do. At first she told me he said all he could do was give a five dollar gift card for my troubles, but later retracted her story and said the general manger did not say that at all and she in fact felt like all she could do was give a five dollar gift card. We asked for a tin pan to toss the shells in at home and the cashier said she had to ask a manager if that was okay- when they returned the manager- didn’t give his name- skinny brunette- told us he had to charge us $1 for the tin pan because it was expensive... yet when we asked why was this okay to give to us if we were to come sit inside to eat yet not okay now without charging ONE dollar after we just spent FIFTY- which mind you- we don’t mind- but the attitude was outrageous— he stated to us that they wash out these pans and reuse them per customers inside the restaurant. “It’s just crawfish it doesn’t matter”. I am utterly disturbed by this and the fact that I just spent $50 and couldn’t get a tin pan without there being an issue- and then being told they reuse after each customer because they are “expensive”.
