Chilly Jilly's — Restaurant in Sidney

Chilly Jilly's is one of my favorite go to place in Sidney, Ohio especially during summers. You will be seeing students working here, so its a good idea to tip them. They are very welcoming.

There are varities of milkshake, icecreams, Sundaes, Smoothies and lots of other things available here in small, medium and large size.

In the website, its mentioned only cash payment available but they do accept card payments which is really good as sometime you might not have cash.

Delivery and dine services are not available. You can either go for drive through or over the counter.

The best past of Chilly Jilly's- Reasonable price and great taste.

Its open all the days from 11 am to 9 pm except...

PLEASE! Train the young people to put a napkin around the cone BEFORE they handle the cone! I was in there 05/13/21 and the girl at the window, counted my money on the "ledge" at drive thru, then she grabbed a cone....(eww), I said, don't you have a napkin to put around the cone, so, I think she got another cone, which she defeated the purpose of the napkin, by just grabbing the cone, THEN putting the napkin around it! That serves little purpose, as the germs were already on the cone. This isn't because of covid, as much as it is about hygiene! I threw the cone out! (Which when the cones are fresh, are the best part), wasted my money. My other 2 visits this year, was not...

This is normally our favorite place to go, we’ve had great experiences all the way up until today. There was 4 what looked like middle school girls working. My boyfriend ordered a Reese’s cup cyclone and it took them 10 minutes just to make his. They were laughing and carrying on, gossiping and when one of them dropped his and broke it they just laughed it off and put it in a new cup. Not to mention there was little if ANY Reese’s inside of it. We love this place but maybe they should watch who they’re hiring especially if they don’t know how to act properly...
