The New Rainbow Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Sidney

A while back one could come in at lunch and get a burger for a couple dollars. That’s mainly what brought us back here.

The four of us ordered each different things from the menu at normal restaurant prices because they apparently didn’t offer the lunch deal anymore.

One of our party ordered the double bacon burger. The waitress asked if they wanted one or two patties, although this option was not on the menu. But that is what was ordered.

When the food was served we were told the cook had nevertheless made a double burger. Now figure this one- we were charged for the double burger.

I’m not one to debate with a person about a couple dollars, I simply tip accordingly.

Too our amazement, outside in the porch seating area there’s a sign offering the $5 lunch deal. Why didn’t the waitress mention anything about that???

Quite frankly, the food was good, if you like boiled hotdogs. The fries were some of the best I’ve had anywhere in a long time.

A large group of us walked into this establishment for one drink on Friday night. The bartender was extremely rude from the moment we walked into the bar. She did not welcome us and just stated it was last call and she was closing at midnight in a very rude voice. It felt toxic from the moment we walked into the bar. She over charged every one of our drinks or did not return correct change. When she was questioned about being over charged ($19 for 2 beers) she got angry and kicked us out of the bar. My family came for a night out to watch Cory Breth perform…. little did we know weve been missing out on this spot since it opened in May! Its a homey environment, with friendly staff( that theres only 3 of so be patient with them!!) The bar tender was knowledgeable and kind, always going out of her way to make sure everyones drink is full and they are happy!! we will definitely be back :) p.s. They make a lot of sauces and toppings in house… and the waffle with ice cream...
