Winans Coffee & Chocolate — Restaurant in Sidney

I absolutely adore the coffee and chocolate at this place. Yes its expensive but well worth it. I didn't give 5 stars because they are always more times then not, out of caramel pecan wurtle chocolates. So apparently other people adore them as well if they are constantly sold out lol. Updated review 3 years after the above mentioned one. Service and standards have just gone downhill since i reviewed it 3 years ago. I have done other reviews of other coffee places in different states and I always compare it to my beloved Winans and now I'm just not using them as my standard any longer. MY hope is that Winans would really evaluate what is happening at their stores, to not have the once high quality and drinks they had at the start. Today getting a iced wurtle and it tasting like a watered down chocolate milk, I could have made at home. I poured it down the sink it was that terrible. That's your signature drink? I wouldn't be happy if I was in your shoes. Also your banana latte iced is totally amazing but yall always run out of ingredients to make things for customers. It's not even noon and you don't have inventory to make drinks. This has been a consistent issue at Sidney Winans. Your prices have always been high dollar 💵 and I don't mind paying high dollar but not for low quality. I have higher expectations so please 🙏 do better. I was severely heart broken today 💔 after I got my Wurtle that was measly chocolate milk....

Stopped here 11082022, ordered a small coffee with half & half, since they don't have whole or 2% milk, 2 pcs. of candy (my fav dark meltaway). While the young girl was very polite & nice, she put WAY too much half & half in the coffee, it looked like it too! I ended up throwing half of it out, so $2.60 wasted! After all, I ordered coffee WITH half & half, not the other way around. To me, that's a lot of $ for a small coffee & not be satisfied! I didn't get a receipt since I paid cash this time or I would go back next time over on that side of town. There should be some standard rule as to how much to measure out so this doesn't happen. First time ordered from Winans in Sidney. Ordered a Matcha Latte and wanted it without sugar. I did not know much about this flavor so I asked the lady twice if I can have it without sugar. She said yes can do. I confirmed again without sugar before they proceeded. I took the latte home and found out there was a ton of sugar in it. I called and asked about it. They said the label indicated sugar as an excused and didn't even apologize. Regardless of labeling, I did not see it at that time but I tried to VERBALLY verify before I ordered .
