This goodwill as all goodwill throughout our country thrives hard to help everyone(IN MANY ASPECTS IN LIFE CHALLEGES US ALL)Giving is the most important thing we as Americans can do to help feed, clothe, everyone. They have a large selection of ladys, mens, children, babys clothes, toys, golfclubs, monitors, cooking items, toasters little ovensETC... they come and go to be bought. It's very important to donate things you may not need or like..... soneone (MAY NEED AND LIKE)The savings ,the smiles of kids getting toys to play with brings joy to not just the kids but to the ones who bought the things.Something's are new in boxes some slightly used but all in all you can find something that may also bring a memory back from time ago in your life.My mother would shop a lot like all MOTHER'S do,,, she said when she passes to donate her things that she wanted to donate to help others in need.So if you have the time donate your things .....or ones who no longer are by your side.Giving in this world anything can insure a positive passing of giving to keep giving and make more links in that chain of good.Sincerly the man who never stood on Buena stage to receive diploma, but later in life stood on that stage in the 90s to put a trophy in my car and drive home Mr.Arizona Copper Classic, many other shows titles awards after making change in life years ago it's possible, workers at good thrive hard in many ways to approch life and life my friends isnts a bowl cherrys..thank you goodwill and staff thank you for helping...
Read moreUpdate: 1/14/2023 -- I was on the way by and went in looking for crochet hooks or yarn. The shelves are a total jumble, and the "crafting" area is intermixed with packages of women's sanitary products--plastic baggies of (unused, but unpackaged) tampons intermixed with empty chocolate tins (for 2.99! WHAT?), random bags of 2-6 skeins of partially used yarn for 4.99 each if you're willing to plunge your arm into the shelf jumble up to the elbow and dig around. I found three empty potato chip bags wedged in under there. Was asked twice if I was an employee because I was wearing a mask due to the publically posted signage out front that no one was enforcing. Guess folks were having trouble finding workers? Not my problem. Tag of the day was red--spent 15 minutes in the store and saw nothing but green and blue tags. No crochet hooks, no yarn that wowed me--I can get 300 yards of lion brand new for 5.39 at wal-mart, why wouldn't I spend 40 more cents to get a skein that isn't a tangled wad? Second chance spent. I'll go to St. Vincent de Paul next time.
OLD--The store itself is in good shape and usually has a good selection of items, however the prices at this particular good will seem outrageous, and the ticket color of the day specials don't ever seem to actually make it better - I never see anything with the special tag color. T shirts run 6-8 dollars, other clothing articles even more. Cheaper to shop...
Read moreI have been frequenting thrift stores all over the country for nearly 20 years now, and I am ECSTATIC that this Goodwill store is local to me. My kids always find cool toys or books in excellent condition. My husband and I both find great clothes and all sorts of useful stuff for around the house. A $110 food dehydrator I've wanted forever, found here for...$8!? Heck yeah! And at least half of my maximalist-decorated walls are paintings and shelves and other wall decor from here lol. Also, most of my favorite books over the past few years were picked up at this location!
Every visit I am able to find some gorgeously original, unique, nostalgic or otherwise awesome items. No thrift store is gonna be perfect... but I legitimately cannot find any one thing about this Goodwill location to complain about.
I seriously LOVE my weekly trips here (FYI: Thursdays are when they mark everything with a certain color tag $1...so that's usually when I try to make it in... Getting a cute new dress is always fun, but when it's only a buck!?!? Makes it that...
