The good: Food is amazing, building is well let and building and facilities are very clean, music is at a comfortable level, and the servers are friendly.
What can be improved? We were the only ones, aside from one other table that came in after we gave our order, and service was very slow. We ran out of chips and still waited 15 more minutes for our food, never offered more chips, and my husband and daughter were out of drink those entire 15 minutes. On one hand, I’m sure it was made fresh, but we should have been checked on at least once or twice, and were not. When our food was finally delivered, the server seemed too rushed and we had to try to get his attention to finally get refills. I also think this is contributed too by the layout of the building. It seems nice, but it’s sectioned off, with high back booths so it’s hard to keep eyes on customers. And they also only had 2 child plate options: chicken nuggets or chicken tenders with fries. And both options were over $10.
Price: slightly more expensive than say La Hacienda over the line is, but the food does seem to be better quality. Tortillas seem to be made fresh possibly. There’s actually quite a bit of food...
Read moreLa Favorita is in a new building that is easy to find. Just east of Hwy 59 on the south side of Hwy 412 as it curves through Siloam Springs. Inside the restaurant is tastefully decorated. New furnishings all throughout. They have a very attractive little bar in the back of the restaurant. A huge big screen is in one section of the restaurant for the sports fans. Soccer was today’s sport of choice (probably every other day too.) Clean comfortable and very well staffed with attentive friendly servers. The nicest Mexican restaurant in town.
Authentic Mexican food. Caldo de Res was my choice. A big hot bowl of tasty beef broth soup, a few vegetables and three meaty beef short ribs. Rice on the side. This was perfect for this cool day. My wife had the beef enchiladas with an amazing authentic red mole. The red sauce here is flavor packed. It is good! Delicious beans. Chips and salsa come with the meals. Ask for the creamy salsa picante. It is spicy and crazy delicious.

Read morePositives: Really good food with a nice presentation. Good music. Nice atmosphere. Clean. New furnishings. Very friendly and helpful server. Love the big screen with DJ. Location is great. Has a full bar with tv.
Negatives: A little expensive. Music was a little loud at times. Menu is very difficult to read. 80% in Spanish with a small explanation in English (which mostly said with beans and salad). If you can’t read Spanish you don’t know what the main dish is that includes the beans and salad. We were told the menu was an issue and would soon be fixed. It should have been fixed before opening. First impressions are important! I didn’t know what to order so asked for a taco and an enchilada. My husband was so frustrated with the menu he wanted to leave. I talked him into staying. . Take away: If the owners stay consistent with the good food, lower the price a bit, maintain the cleanliness, and fix the menu issue asap their business will thrive. An English menu must be an option or they won’t last!!!! It should have been provided day one because some people...
