As of this review date, Casa Mexico has a 3.7-star rating on both Facebook and Google. I have to agree 3.7 is spot on. Great chips and salsa and they are not stingy with the salsa. The service is very good. The food is tasty. We had the Mexican Flag Burrito (Chopped beef filled flour burrito, with red, queso and verde sauce), beans, rice a little Pico de Gallo and a dab of guacamole. No complaints at all about the flavor of the food. The chopped steak in the burrito had several no chew’ems that I had to fish out of my mouth and make them available for a return trip to the kitchen. The other flaw was the food temperature. The food may have been warm when placed on the plate, but the plate was not hot. A big failure. Good Mexican food really needs to be served piping hot and on hot plates. The food here is not TexMex. It is more of a traditional version. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Their specialty seems to be seafood, with many options on the menu. There was a plate of oysters served, that looked quite delicious. Casa Mexico is worth a try. Fair, don’t expect to be blown away. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" by Spike S. on Yelp. I've probably been there.

Really enjoyed this place! The food is great. We loved their salsa and guacamole. Everything tasted super fresh. Staff was friendly. They added my husband to their birthday wall which was super cute. 😂 We definitely plan on going back soon!

My fiance and I went and tried Casa Mexico since they have gotten new owners. They have definitely improved! The food was good, my fiance said the chicken on the Steven special was seasoned well, had good flavor and had a generous amount. The queso was probably the best I’ve had anywhere around here. The server was friendly, attentive and kind! We had 2 drinks, 2 dinner plates, appetizer dips, tequila sunrise (very generous with the tequila) and dessert for 60$. This will be my go to on Tex-Mex foods. If you have not gave it a shot since the change in ownership I highly...

Nothing special. The food is okay, not a lot of flavor, basic Mexican-American dishes. Pretty sure the tortillas are just Great Value or something, they told me they don't make them in house.

Hard to pay what they ask for and get the food you get. They said they make the rice and beans in house but, I have doubts, unless they're good at making the same stuff you get in a big plastic bag from wholesale food suppliers. The value for the food is not great.

Pretty negative review, I am really trying hard to think of something positive. Hey, at least they had...
