This was my second trip to the new Schlotzsky's in Siloam Springs. My first was the day they opened, and I expected a long wait, but I was surprisingly through the drive-through in less than 15 minutes! Schlotzsky's is my favorite sandwich, so I had been waiting excitedly. Unfortunately, when I returned to work, I discovered my sandwich had onions, despite the fact that I clearly stated "no onions" and the girl repeated my order. I have an intolerance to onions, and had to give away the sandwich. I was sad, but chalked it up to opening day. Today I ordered through the app, which told me what time my sandwich would be ready. I checked "no red onions" on my order, and drove up 4 minutes before my order was due. There was a line in the drive-through, which meant I waited 20 minutes for my sandwich, which was sitting and getting soggy for that 20 minutes. (Next time I will go inside; the drive-through line is very slow.) Again I drove back to work, and again my sandwich had onions, in addition to which everything had been soaking up onion juice. I had to toss the sandwich, since I don't have time to be sick. IF I go back, I will go inside and ask to be shown proof before I leave that there are no onions. (A simple request, I think.) I have now paid for two sandwiches I couldn't eat. š The people were nice both times, but they need to determine a way to get online orders to people in their cars, and then respect requests for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur family of 6 came in Sunday afternoon to grab a decent meal. My wife and daughter both have celiac and weāve eaten at Schlotzskyās a few times without issues in regards to their allergies.
This time the food was decent and no reactions to gluten allergies, however, every single one of our meals was screwed up. The two gluten free orders were both made with gluten ingredients and we asked them to be made again, this time gluten free.
I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich only to have just regular turkey. My daughter order a small turkey club and ended up getting my smoked turkey meat. My 4 year old son ordered a kids pizza only to be brought an adult sized pizza.
Overall, incredibly frustrated that the process was error filled and took forever to get our food correctly. Once it was delivered correctly, it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe place was clean and smelled great. My wife and I were excited to eat there. There were two other tables (one couple, and one single male) that were already seated. One was waiting on his food. There were two cars in the drive thru. We saw at least four staff. However, we waited around 10 minutes without ever being acknowledged by anyone. That is even with one staff member walking right by us to deliver the food the male patron had apparently ordered. We eventually gave up and left. It was disappointing and frustrating. We went to a different restaurant where service has always been terrific. I don't believe it is unreasonable to expect some kind of service within this timeframe, again close to 10 minutes standing in front of an empty register around 7pm, when the staff to patron ratio is 1:1...
