This specific location NICKLE AND DIMES you for anything they can get away with AND THE 4PM+ CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIFIC! I wanted Mac sauce on a sandwich instead of mayo (I've been ordering it like this at least twice a week for 15+ yrs after I get off work) and this is the ONLY LOCATION that actually charged me $0.40!!) and the funny thing is that I HAD been going to this LOCATION twice a WEEK (not including breakfast!... my "BEEF" isn't with the morning crew! I always get 2 breakfast burritos, 4 packs of MILD picante sauce, small orange juice, and a large coffee with 5 creams and 5 sugars... As you can see I HAVE a routine and know EXACTLY WHAT it costs every single time I go!! on the way to my office.. for over a year now since I moved to PA...
Sorry, i know it's only 40 cents... But when I questioned the cashier, he was BEYOND rude and belligerent and claimed "they've always charged 40 cents... So I LITERALLY went home and dug thru my trash can in my garage from the PRIOR WEEK... (AT THIS POINT ITS A MATTER OF PURE PRINCIPLE!!! 😠😠😠 SO I return the next evening and I showed him 3 receipts from JUST within THE LAST 14 DAYS... he refused to acknowledge them and slammed the drive thru window closed in my face!
At that point I said "never again" (and a few other choice words) what a horrible employee and representation of this location (you know who you are big guy with black uncombed hair, beard and RUDE AF...) no wonder this location is CONSTANTLY looking for help... With co workers and customer service like this...
ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL AND UNACCEPTABLE!
FOR THOSE OF YOU reading this... I strongly recommend you visit the other McDonald's just 3 miles down the Carlisle Pike by Lowes and Marshalls, MUCH BETTER employees and steady prices that don't...
Read moreFirst off - it is a VERY RARE thing for me to give a one star. I am a very patient and understanding patron. However this was a very unfortunate experience. Many of the staff members in the back were standing around gabbing (save the nice young lady at the cash register), every single table in the lobby was dirty, the bathrooms were dirty and my food came out tasting frostbitten. I rarely complain but in this case, my MIL was buying and she was so embarrassed and upset as she rarely gets out that I went to the nice young lady at the cash register. I explained my food was not up to par and I'd appreciate another sandwich. She went to get her manager and this manager is why I'm writing this review. Cathryn or Catelyn has no business in management. She clearly hates her job. I'm customer service professionally trained and educated with a BA in Business Management. She walked over to the register audibly saying "she just doesn't like the food", proceeded to call me a liar, say the sandwich was half eaten (two bites were taken out), rolled her eyes at me and told me to calm down and stop cussing, their were children in the restaurant. PLEASE pull the tape lol I never once cussed. I was taken aback by her attitude with me from start to finish. SHE made a big scene. I simply wanted a sandwich that tasted like the dozens of others I've had in my life, it typically tastes the exact same and this time it didn't. I didn't see what the big deal was. I asked for my money back and she took the time to apologize to everyone in the restaurant for my non existent cussing, further embarrassing me and my mom (most of the time i just don't say anything or will pull someone aside as a helpful tip). I really hope she isn't like this with all...
Read moreI ordered a chicken sandwich and it was handed to me at the same time that the cashier was giving me my change and that was a little too fast. I decided to check my sandwich and the breading on the chicken was full of fryer oil as though it was soaking in it and then not sold to a customer and then put on the shelf for the next person that ordered a chicken sandwich. My fingers were covered in oil and the sandwich was not something that an employee would eat and I know this because I asked the teenager working behind the counter. They had shown the manager on duty and he was very helpful and apologetic and he had a new chicken sandwich made up for me. I then thanked him and took my sandwich out to my car to enjoy my sandwich and it was also soaked with oil that is most likely the same batch of oil that they do their fries in and that oil is usually overused and old. I had the same chicken sandwich at a different McDonald's and it was very good and not soaked in old fry oil. They need more adults training the teenagers properly because the times that I have had bad food or missing items is on the weekends and after school hours when the majority of the employees are young and under the supervision of 1 adult that allows them to work without gloves and be goofing off on their phones. It's a shame how many of the McDonald's franchises are owned by people that don't care about quality and that the owner only comes in 1 evening a week and the McDonald's that I'm referring to the owner only coming in 1 evening a week is the one off of route 81 at the Manada hill exit 77 if I am correct on the exit number. It's beside the Perkins restaurant and Flying J truck stop near Hershey...
